John Kerry Caught Red Handed in Unlawful, Backdoor Iran Deal

In America these days, we are learning that 8 years of democratic debauchery is enough to keep any next President busy for the foreseeable future, but Donald Trump really is making quick work of it.

Let’s be honest:  Trump inherited a mess the likes of which we may never see again in our lifetimes.  The liberal left was so wholly enamored in the character that Barack Obama played, that they paid no mind to the policies of the anti-gun globalist.  Obama essentially had a free pass to galavant about the world as he pleased, diplomatically selling the American people up the river.

When you apply the left’s ancient rule of “when they give us an inch, we’ll take a mile”, and you end up in a political quagmire more suffocating than any old-timey quicksand pit in a jungle movie.

So Trump has been hard at work dismantling the democratic deity’s doings for over a year now, and has been making some serious progress.  Now, with his attention focused on renegotiating the horrifically lopsided Iran Nuclear Deal, it seems as though there is a snake in the grass, secretly coiling and toiling in order to obstruct the President of the United States.

Former Secretary of State John Kerry has reportedly been using diplomatic backchannels to communicate with Iranian officials in order to keep former President Barack Obama’s infamous Iran nuclear deal on life support.

And he may have broken the law in the process.

In what the Boston Globe described as “shadow diplomacy,” the newspaper broke the news Friday that Kerry — more than a year after leaving office as the top U.S. diplomat — is actively working to keep Obama’s Iran deal in place.

Kerry, one of the top architects of the deal, reportedly met with Iranian Foreign Minister Javad Zarif in New York City two weeks ago to discuss the agreement’s preservation. He also met with several European leaders, including German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and French President Emmanuel Macron, both in Paris and New York.

And, when it comes to the legality of this maneuver, there are some serious concerns.

According to some experts, Kerry’s actions may constitute a violation of the Logan Act, an 18th century law that prohibits American citizens from having private discussions with foreign governments “with intent to influence the measures or conduct of any foreign government” or “to defeat the measures of the United States.”

Now it will be up to the DOJ to decide whether or not to take a harder look at Kerry’s possibly treasonous actions.

Given the inaction of the intelligence community in recent weeks, as well as the overall feeling that the Deep State is far more entrenched in the Beltway than previously believed, we won’t be holding our breath.
