The democrats have become one of the most conspiratorial organizations in the nation in 2017, with a great many of their cockamamy theories revolving around Hillary Clinton.
During the election of 2016, the left was on the attack. As free press journalists cried out for health records regarding Clinton, who famously collapsed during a 9/11 remembrance ceremony and whose former Secret Service agents revealed that she was suffering from Parkinson’s Disease, the democrats and their mainstream media operatives were dispatched to dispel these concerns. Many who sought the truth on Hillary’s health were labeled conspiracy theorists, “fake news” mongers, or worse.
Now, however, it seems as though the tables have turned, with democrats lining up to make incredulous claims about an election that has been completed for eight months. The latest looney leftist to throw his hat in the fray of unconventional claims is Jesse Jackson, a man whose rhetoric has been widely lambasted in the past.
“The Rev. Jesse Jackson said defeated 2016 Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton really ‘won the election’ against Republican President Donald Trump last November — and that ‘it was stolen.’
“Jackson made his remarks Thursday during a labor breakfast at the annual conference of his organization, the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, in Chicago.
“Here are Jackson’s words in context before introducing Tom Perez, head of the Democratic National Committee:
“’To have a head of our party who is sensitive to the plight of working people is the order of this day,’ Jackson said. ‘Don’t forget — when you lose, you tend to amplify “woulda, coulda, shoulda.” When you win, you cover up your sins. Don’t let anybody fool you, we worked last year, we won the election. It was stolen.’”
Jackson’s words are indicative of the bewildering attitude of the left as of late, with anger and denial at the forefront.
Much of this charade by the democrats has been chalked up to a loose-knit movement they’ve deemed the “resistance” to President Trump. By all accounts, the democrats and their progressive pundits are in de facto opposition to the President of the United States and any action that he takes. To them, it is not about what’s best for the country, but what’s worst for Donald Trump. Their hatred for the Commander in Chief is so horrifically petty that even the most insignificant maneuvers by Trump take on a gaggle of leftist critics.
This has created certain key areas of gridlock within out government, as President Trump attempts to stay committed to the campaign promises that he made to the American people who elected him. With liberal leaders such as Jackson openly working to delegitimize the President at every turn, the democrats will then exponentially have more ammunition for their “resistance”, as Trump becomes mired in the minutiae of Washington D.C.’s stagnant swamp waters.
