There have been a number of detractors in the media who have lambasted Ivanka Trump and her husband, Jared Kushner’s, roles in the administration of her father, Donald Trump.
Of course, there is the obvious rallying cry of decrepit nepotism that has the left in a tizzy, claiming that their tax dollars are now going to support even more of the Trump family tree that they despise. What these leftist agitators are forgetting is that Ivanka Trump is one of the most capable women on the planet, let alone in Washington D.C.
Another thing that continues to completely frustrate the left side of American politics is how well spoken and classy Ivanka and her family continue to be. Her father, for all of his strengths, does get a bit loose with his wording from time to time. It’s understandable; he’s an excitable and successful businessman who, for years, has contemplated how best to reinvent America with his business prowess. The real estate mogul patriarch of the Trump family is brimming with ideas that are fighting to get from his brain to his mouth.
Ivanka’s more calculated approach to public appearances has endlessly bothered the left, who would love the opportunity to pounce on one of the first daughter’s nonexistent gaffes.
Now, Ivanka and her family have taken the time to commit yet another selfless act that will surely be ignored by democrats and their liberal ilk.
“The Kushner family showed their appreciation to the Secret Service Friday morning, by bringing them some treats.
“Jared Kushner and his two oldest children, five-year-old Arabella and three-year-old Joseph, brought out a tray of goodies to the agents on duty outside of the family’s Kalorama home on Friday.
“Little Joseph smiled ear-to-ear as he carried the tin tray out of the house to one of his protectors.
“The show of appreciation comes just a day after it was revealed in the Financial Times that Ivanka had won over her neighbors with her baking.”
Surely, this small gesture was nothing out of the ordinary for the extremely hospitable Ivanka Trump, but it once again reiterates the family’s etiquette and proper raising. While President Trump may sometimes rub the left the wrong way in an effort to be a catalyst for American greatness, Ivanka certainly subscribes to the Golden Rule and using kindness and politeness as en effective character trait.
Given the Secret Service’s hectic first 100 days protecting the Trumps, we would wager that these homemade treats were well-deserved.
Eat up, boys.
