Iran seems none too pleased their our former Capitular in Chief, Barack Obama, is no longer putting his feet up on the desk in the Oval Office.
During Obama’s disastrous two terms in the White House, the democratic President was able to steer our nation away from reason and logic, and down a much darker, more convoluted path. No longer could we call evil men “evil” for fear of offending them. No longer would we exert on authority on those who continued to wrong us and our allies. And no longer would we punish those who have previously betrayed us, mocked us, and threatened us.
No; during the time of Obama’s reign, we allowed the hostile nation of Iran to diplomatically walk all over us, garnering themselves an unfathomable deal in which they could continue working toward nuclear “energy”, unabated. Obama took great pride in the shortsighted deal, and Iran was over the moon after the hoodwinking of the democratic deity.
Now that Donald Trump has come to Washington, however, Iran has been much more nervous. This has led to a great deal of rhetoric coming our way from the Persian nation, along with, now, aggressive military action.
“An Iranian missile boat pointed a laser at a U.S. Marine helicopter while two Navy warships and a cargo ship were transiting out of the Persian Gulf through the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday, a senior US defense official said.
“The laser triggered a response and the U.S. helicopter automatically fired off flares toward the offending vessel.
“The Iranian vessel came within 800 yards of the U.S. warships.
“Cdr. Bill Urban in a statement called the interaction ‘unsafe and unprofessional.’
“‘Illuminating helicopters with lasers at night is dangerous as it creates a navigational hazard that can impair vision and can be disorienting to pilots using night vision goggles,’ Urban said.”
This is just the latest aggression coming from Iran and being pointed in the direction of the United States.
Earlier this week, the Persian nation accused the United States of funding ISIS and ISIL in the Middle East, claiming that they had proof to back up their absurd claims. This behavior is likely due to President Trump putting Iran “on notice” early in his premier term as Commander in Chief.
