It is rather important that we, as a people of this great nation, recognize the very dire situation unfolding before us.
I don’t mean to be an alarmist, but there is a very real struggle occurring today regarding our First Amendment rights. You see, communication has been effectively privatized by companies such as Google, Facebook, and Twitter, meaning that anything that you would like to broadcast needs to be approved by whomever is in charge of those corporations. This should be considered a Constitutional issue regardless of the company’s status as private or public, simply because these platforms are very much a required piece of the American economic landscape.
Businesses without social media cannot compete with those who utilize this form of communication. Being ex-communicated from this attention stream is a death sentence in this modern age, meaning that these social media companies are arbitrarily choosing who can be a business owner in this nation.
Being banished from the mainstream internet today is the equivalent of slapping the yellow “Jude” star on your store window in 1930’s Germany. You are now being cast out of society based on how you voted in the last election, or whether or not you take Google’s word at face value.
And, as if there was any doubt about how these companies feel on the subject of our current President, a leaked internal video from within Google itself has confirmed it for us.
The video is a full recording of Google’s first all-hands meeting following the 2016 election (these weekly meetings are known inside the company as “TGIF” or “Thank God It’s Friday” meetings). Sent to Breitbart News by an anonymous source, it features co-founders Larry Page and Sergey Brin, VPs Kent Walker and Eileen Naughton, CFO Ruth Porat, and CEO Sundar Pichai.[…]
It was reported earlier this week that Google tried to boost turnout among the Latino population to help Hillary Clinton, only to be dismayed as the usually solid Democratic voting bloc switched to the GOP in record numbers. This video shows a similar level of dismay among Google’s most high-profile figures.
These individuals, who preside over a company with unrivaled influence over the flow of information, can be seen disparaging the motivations of Trump voters and plotting ways to use their vast resources to thwart the Trump agenda.
Google has long been considered an asset of the mainstream media, and such dizzying discrimination seen in full only serves to reiterate that impression.
