IMAGINE THAT: Armed School Resource Officer Saves The Day

While the liberal left continues to plug their ears and scream “LALALA” at the top of their lungs, the rest of the nation has received a salient reminder of how the Second Amendment works here in the United States.

In the wake of the Parkland, Florida school shooting in February, the democrats and their malleable millennials rolled up their sleeves and attempted in earnest to vilify the nation’s law abiding gun owners.  They cared not that the entire event was predicated on a known case of severe mental illness.  They also chose to ignore that local and federal authorities had been notified that attacker Nikolas Cruz was a threat, with one caller specifically stating that they were concerned about his desire to “shoot up a school”.

This outrageous ignorance of the facts was necessary, unfortunately, for the left to push the bizarre narrative that somehow an inanimate object compelled a kids hearing “demon voices” to murder 17 people.

Right, and my fork is to blame for my high blood pressure.

Trending: The President’s Beef with Stormy Daniels SOMEHOW Got Dumber

The last argument that the left employed recalled the harrowing cowardice of the Florida sheriff’s deputy who was assigned to protect Stoneman Douglas High School on the day of the incident.  As it turns out, he was not the man for the job despite a lengthy career on the force and a $75,000 per year paycheck.

Now, to show us how the armed school resource officer deal actually works, we turn to Illinois, (believe it or not).

WRAL reports that the alleged gunman was spotted on school property around 8 am. He was confronted by an armed resource officer  and Dixon city manager Danny Langloss said the alleged gunman fired at the officer. The officer returned fire, striking the alleged gunman.

The alleged gunman suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was placed under arrest.

The identity of the suspect has not been revealed but reports that he is a “19-year-old former student.”

Langross summarized the morning, saying, “We’re lucky the officer was there. His brave actions saved a lot of lives.”

Of course, the same could not be said for the man tasked with protecting the children of Stoneman Douglas, as surveillance video clearly shows him waiting outside, and even hiding, during the time in which Nikolas Cruz was slaughtering his former classmates.

While this revelation may not seem like much of a surprise for those of us paying attention to how the Second Amendment works, there is little hope that this sort of story would find any traction in a mainstream media hellbent on demonizing the right to bear arms.
