House Democrats Need Their Butts Spanked For Throwing a Temper Tantrum

OR: How to Tick Off a Democrat

Parents, how many of you have had kids throw temper tantrums when they didn’t get their way? I would say most of us. I recall when I was little and threw a temper tantrum, I got my butt spanked and quickly learned not to do that again. When my kids were little, one of them started throwing temper tantrums and she got her butt spanked. When my granddaughter was little and threw a temper tantrum, she got her butt spanked.

“Whoever spares the rod hates his son, but he who loves him is diligent to discipline him.” (Proverbs 13:24)

This week, liberal Democrats in the US House of Representatives threw a temper tantrum over the Republicans refusing to bring the gun control bills to a vote. When Speaker of the House Paul Ryan tried to restore order and adjourn the House for the July 4 holiday, the Democrats tried to shout him down. Their actions were identical to those of a two-year-old throwing a temper tantrum and therefore should be turned over the knee of House Sergeant-at-Arms and have their butts spanked for acting like a spoiled child.

They claim that the issue behind their sit-in protest is that House Republicans won’t bring gun control bills to the floor for a vote. If that’s true, then let’s look at what Democrats have done in the past.

When the Democrats controlled the Senate, Majority Leader Harry Reid refused to allow 12 job bills passed by the Republican-controlled House. Reid reportedly gave only 1 of the 12 bills a fleeting glance before refusing to allow them to ever be considered. The other 11 House jobs bill were tossed in the trash without ever being looked at. At the time, millions of Americans were out of work and the unemployment levels were still high, but Reid wouldn’t even look at the jobs bills passed by the House because they were Obama’s plans.

Now when House Republicans refuse to allow the Democrats’ gun control bills from going to a vote, the Dems get all bent out shape and throw a temper tantrum.

It’s the same thing when it comes to filibusters. Last year when Senator Rand Paul held his filibuster, the Democrats were all up in arms and even the liberal media was slamming him for what they called a childish stunt. The same thing happened with Ted Cruz launched a filibuster back in 2013. As a result, Reid illegally attempted to change the Senate rules to block Republican filibusters, ignoring the fact that a number of Democrats have used filibusters in the past.

What about the infamous Sequestration of 2013? To begin with, the idea of the Sequestration came straight from Barack Obama who thought he could use it to force Republicans to do things his way. Legally, that’s called extortion. When Republicans refused to compromise and give in to Obama’s demands, Democrats and the media immediately blamed the whole the thing on the Republicans when it was Obama’s fault.

Now Republicans are taking the high road and making a stand for their political views and the Democrats are responding by throwing a temper tantrum. The bottom line is that Democrats insist on having everything their way with no compromise while expecting Republicans to constantly give in. Democrats only play by the rules when it suits them, not when it suits others.

One lesson in all of this is that the best way to tick off a Democrat is to lower yourself and act just like they do. They can’t tolerate anyone saying and doing the same things they do and they get really mad really fast.
