While most of Hollywood’s dough-eyed liberals have followed in the footsteps of Barack Obama in ignoring the dangers of fanatical Islamists, one actress has demonstrated her common sense.
Former President Obama had an infamous habit of avoiding using terms such as “radical Islam”, for fear of insulting the Muslim faith. Directed by his opinion, Hollywood began a campaign of capitulation toward even the most radical of Islamic practices, under the guise of some 1960’s “peace, love, and tolerance” motif. Now, one actress in the leftists commune known as Hollywood is finally speaking up against portions of the Muslim faith, and she’s calling all feminists to the carpet for their appeasement of the religion.
“Actress Mayim Bialik slammed the Left and feminists in a blog post this week, explaining that feminist activists often ignore the suffering that many women in majority Muslim countries endure on a regular basis.
“Bialik saved her most harsh criticism for feminists who ignore ‘atrocities against women’ in majority Muslim countries.
“’The question is this: Many countries – many Muslim countries, in fact – perpetrate atrocities against women which include: female genital mutilation, forced marriages, child brides, systematic abuse of women by the justice system, revenge rape and honor killing,’ she writes. ‘Why is Israel held to a standard none of these other countries – whose offenses are, arguably more extreme – are held to? And why is belief in the State of Israel something that should exclude women – or men, for that matter – from identifying as feminists?'”
Bialik’s opinion certainly won’t fit in nicely with Tinsel Town’s obsession with inclusion and forced equality, however, there is no denying that what she has said speaks volumes about the hypocrisy of the left. While liberals spend every waking moment chastising their fellow Americans regarding the rights of whatever segment of society they deem worthy on any particular day, it’s no secret that they have largely ignored the sins of the Muslim faith is it pertains to women.
