There have been numerous, conflicting reports abound regarding Hillary Clinton’s election night antics, but taking the story from the horse’s mouth may be the most absurd version of events yet.
The first few things that we heard were not good. Essentially, the impression was given to Americans everywhere that Hillary Clinton, the first woman of the modern era to make a run at the White House was being an emotional mess after losing. This didn’t bode well for the feminists who lined up in droves to vote for whomever had the most ovaries come election time.
Then came reports of physical violence emanating from the former First Lady. The smashing of objects and the possible shoving of campaign manager John Podesta were widely reported before Google and Snopes conspired to rig search results to obscure the truth.
Now, new information is coming to light from the post-election Hillary inner circle, and it seems that assault and sobbing weren’t the only outlandish occurrences either. As it turns out, Clinton herself was considering a wholesale abandoning of America in favor of New Zealand.
Failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton told an audience in New Zealand Monday that she gave “some thought” to permanently leaving the United States and settling in that country after Donald Trump scored his upset victory over her in 2016.
“I want to thank some of you for sending good wishes a very long way during my campaign and the months that followed. I received a number of invitations from Kiwis to permanently relocate here,” Clinton tells the Auckland, New Zealand audience in a video posted by an organ of the Republican National Committee.
“I must say, I really did appreciate the offers, and gave them some thought,” Clinton follows up over the audience’s laughter.
Like many devout leftists, the idea of leaving America was also touted by a number of celebrities – the most famous being Lena Dunham, who immediately reneged on her promise once the inevitable election of Donald Trump was finalized.
Not one to ever miss an opportunity to play the Woman Card, Hillary added:
“I was surprised at the level of ingrained sexism and misogyny in people’s reactions and the coverage of the campaign. And the more I thought about it and studied about it, the more I realised was a factor,” Clinton told Stuff, as she promoted her book, What Happened? which documents this and other theories as to why she lost to Donald Trump.
Far be it from Clinton to acknowledge that her long history of ridiculously unethical behavior and governmental favoritism is what caused her political downfall…not some mythical secret misogyny.
