Hillary Clinton once believed that she could be the next President of the United States simply because she was a woman.
While this may sound like an absurd accusation on its own, we must must remember how adamant Clinton was on playing up her gender during her failed 2016 campaign. Not only did Hillary rely on a ridiculous “I’m With Her” slogan, clearly drawing the conclusion that she was the only woman in the race, but she continually worked to undermine her opponent Donald Trump’s record with the ladies. Clinton was one of the first to go on the record regarding the infamous “locker room” tape released during the campaign, and her chameleon-like appearances allowed the former First Lady ample opportunities to act appealing to whomever her handlers put her in front of.
Now, after the election is over, and Clinton was ultimately embarrassed by her own failure, the doomed democrat is turning against the women who she once believed were the key to her success. Not only has Hillary widely lambasted female Trump voters repeatedly, and in her book What Happened, it seems that the former Secretary of State is willing to throw female victims of sexual assault under the bus in order to insult her former electoral opponent.
“’This kind of behavior cannot be tolerated anywhere, whether it’s in entertainment [or] politics,’ Clinton said, before leveling an allegation against President Trump.
“’After all, we have someone admitting to being a sexual assaulter in the Oval Office. There has to be a recognition that we must stand against the kind of action that is so sexist and misogynistic,’ she said.
“Clinton was discussing Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, who was recently accused of sexual abuse and rape after multiple women and former co-workers stepped forward with stories of incidents.
“Clinton said she was ‘shocked and appalled’ by the stories of Weinstein’s abuses, and clarified that he was a political acquaintance who had donated to many candidates in the Democratic Party before naming others associated with the movie mogul.”
Clinton is simply using these abused women as a prop for her own soapbox, and in no way has shown any compassion whatsoever for the victims of Harvey Weinstein’s decades-long terrorization of Hollywood’s starlets.
Again, Hillary’s behavior has confirmed to us that she is no champion of women; at least not in any outward capacity. Instead, Clinton uses her gender as a weapon to jab and stab at her male political opponents in order to muster some semblance of support.
