Hillary Clinton’s Secret Security Clearance Move Has Americans Puzzled

For many, the time that Hillary Clinton spent as Secretary of State is like a stain on our great nation.

And I don’t mean this in a purely offensive and bratty way either; I’m speaking of the very real, very nasty fallout from the revelations contained within her leaked campaign emails in which we discovered an entirely new way to look at the former first lady.

In those emails, we experienced the fear and bewilderment of the DNC, whose financial viability was only restored after a hefty cash donation from Clinton herself.  Then, when word got out about Hillary’s plans to sideline Bernie Sanders, all Hell broke loose in the democratic party.

With Donald Trump now squarely in the Oval Office, and exerting his populist will, I might add, many wondered if there would have been repercussions for Hillary Clinton.  While nothing has appeared on the surface in this capacity, even Clinton herself seemed prepared for the worst.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has relinquished her security clearance over her handling of sensitive information stored on a private email server, according to the Senate Judiciary Committee.

Cheryl Mills, a former top Clinton aide, along with four additional individuals, no longer have clearance, committee chairman Chuck Grassley said Friday afternoon. The Washington Times reports Clinton’s access to secret information “expired at the end of August,” while the four other “research assistants,” the names of which were redacted in a letter from the State Department, had their clearances terminated September 20.

The FBI began investigating the handling of classified material on Clinton’s private email server shortly after she announced her bid in April 2015. The issue had dogged Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign, greatly contributing to the questions a majority of Americans have about her honesty and trustworthiness.

This sort of humility from Hillary is certainly unexpected, and has many around the nation scratching their head.  Headstrong Hillary seems to have tucked tail here, and that is so outside of her stubborn and foolhardy nature that many are instantly untrusting.
