There have been a number of absolutely bizarre assertions being bandied about by the Hillary Clinton team in the wake of her deafening electoral loss in November.
Much of this new blame game has been realized thanks to the utter and unavoidable fracturing of the democratic party, something that Hillary’s latest antics are simply exacerbating.
In her recent book, What Happened, Clinton attempts to explain all of the reasons why she was unable to defeat Donald Trump in the 2016 general election. The concept itself is a bit disingenuous, as it was American voters who decided that Clinton was far too tainted a candidate to reach the highest office in the land due to her own overwhelming history of shady and illegal behavior, yet Clinton insists that any number of other people are to blame.
Joe Biden and Bernie Sanders have so far been the main targets of her wrath; a wrath that is wrought with inexplicable hearsay and conspiracy.
Now, it seems as though her campaign staff is also taking up the crusade against the democratic party, as one aide is attempting now to pin the Russian collusion conspiracy on Bernie Sanders after spending nearly a year attempting to paint Donald Trump has some sort of Kremlin operative.
“The length to which Hillary Clinton and her team will go to shift blame onto others for President Trump’s victory last November is stunning. Adam Parkhomenko, a long time aide to Hillary Clinton, took to Twitter Friday evening to rant about how great his boss’s presidential campaign was in 2016, while taking shots at her primary opponent Bernie Sanders.
“In the middle of Parkomenko’s thread, the Clinton aide insinuates something quite explosive — Bernie Sanders may have colluded with Russia in the Democratic primary.
“’PS…you seem to ignore the Russia support online for Bernie during the primaries. The guy is hiding something. Not sure I want to know what,’ the aide tweeted.”
Hilariously enough, Parkomenko included in his rant an admonishment for the “fake news” that is being spread about, obliviously ignoring the fact that he himself is now engaged in such frivolity.
As Hillary and her camp continue to sling assertions around the politi-sphere, there is little hope that the democratic party will recover from this insider divisiveness. The party itself was rocked by the revelations that the Clinton campaign was working hand in hand with the DNC to steal the primaries away from the far more popular Sanders, fracturing the already doomed democrats into far too many sects to continue to contend in American politics.
