The incredible failure of the democratic party in 2016 has spurred a number of concerns for the future of the organization, all thanks to the horrific performance of Hillary Clinton.
Clinton, who was an incredibly flawed candidate from the start of the 2016 primaries, was forced to resort to cheating in order to secure the nomination for the democrats, as revealed by a treasure trove of leaked documents provided to the American people by whistleblower website Wikileaks. When combined with the copious skeletal remains overflowing from the former First Lady’s closet, (possibly literally), there was no way on earth that the American people could, in good conscience, elect her to lead the nation.
Then, instead of fading away into obscurity and leaving the democratic party to pick up the pieces by themselves, Hillary had the dumbfounding idea to write a book about her electoral evisceration titled What Happened. The ill-advised book, that her husband reportedly threw away his copy of, was bereft with blame for anyone but herself in the loss. Clinton even went so far as to blame Bernie Sanders, the primary opponent whom she enlisted the help of the DNC to underhandedly defeat.
Now, as the midterm elections begin roaring to start, Hillary Clinton has been given a stern warning by Senate Democrats: Stay away.
“Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin, who is up for re-election in 2018, said it ‘wouldn’t be wise’ for Hillary Clinton to campaign for him in his home state of West Virginia.
“He was asked during an interview that aired Sunday on MSNBC’s ‘Kasie DC,’ if he was a ‘dead man walking’ after President Trump won West Virginia by a wide margin in the 2016 presidential contest.“‘I sure don’t think so,’ he replied, listing off his prior political posts in the state and saying of himself, ‘I’m just West Virginia, period. It’s not Democrat, Republican to me.’
“Asked if he’d like Clinton to campaign for him, Manchin immediately derided the notion.
“‘It wouldn’t be wise for Hillary to come to West Virginia. It wouldn’t be a good thing for her or for me,’ he replied.”
This sort of anti-Clinton sentiment has been boiling among democrats since long before last November, but the DNC and the Ivory Tower of liberals have outright refused to acknowledge it.
Hillary Clinton is, quite simply, a cancer for the democratic party. Her long history of shady politics, proven corruption, and assumed responsibility for a number of horrific mistakes while Secretary of State have doomed her chances of ever being directly involved in political office again. Joe Manchin’s comments are just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the democratic distancing of Clinton.
