Hillary Campaign Head Claims “Alt Right” and Russia Colluding Against Dems

No matter how many times the entire theory has been shot down, the left just simply refuses to let their Russian nonsense die.

From the moment that Hillary Clinton began having trouble in the polls against opponent Donald Trump in the 2016 election, a new boogeyman was being concocted by democratic spin-masters and then reiterated by massive media malpractice.  That boogeyman was a familiar villain in the halls of American history, having once spent decades using nukes as spooks to usher in a new world of fear in the western hemisphere.

We are talking, of course, about Russia:  Cold War nemesis of the United States, and imposing Asiatic superpower with a short temper and a warped view of the world.

The left, sensing defeat due to their own corrupt insistence on backing the unbelievably flawed Hillary Clinton for President, was soon forced to go all-in on the Russian conspiracy theory that the Kremlin interfered, somehow, in the U.S. election on behalf of businessman-turned-politician Donald Trump.

How exactly did they interfere?  According to the democrats, in any way possible.  Whichever story is the most believable to you, is what the democrats will be pushing.

Now, months after Hillary was sent packing by the indomitable Donald, her campaign manager is still pushing the Russia narrative, even though exactly zero evidence has been unearthed to suggest that he’s correct.  Worse yet, there is now a democratic storyline in which Sean Hannity and his “alt right” cronies colluded with Putin and other Russian entities in order to sink Hillary Clinton’s ship…even though it had been riddled with holes long before leaving the relatively safe harbor of the Obama administration.

“Hillary Clinton’s former campaign chief John Podesta attacked the First Amendment rights of the free press as he continued to spin his conspiracy theory of Russia colluding with American news websites to damage Democrats.

“During a conversation with the Washington Post’s Karen Tumulty, he cited the ‘participation and the support of the alt-right media,’ naming ‘guys like Sean Hannity’ and ‘disgusting’ Newt Gingrich for helping spread ‘fake news’ to hurt Democrats. He specifically criticized Hannity and Gingrich for asking questions about DNC staffer Seth Rich’s murder and whether or not it had a connection with Wikileaks.

“Podesta explained that it was one more example of how the Russians were ‘very active in propagating and distributing fake news, working with these alt-right sites in conjunction with them.’ He also cited an ‘echo system’ created by the Russians that raised the social media profile of articles that were damaging to Democrats.

“He pointed out that ‘legitimate sites’ like the Washington Post and the New York Timessuffered, as other ‘alt-right’ websites got more traction during the election.

“Podesta blamed websites in the United States for publishing emails from Emmanuel Macron during the French presidential election to influence the outcome.”

Of course, what Podesta is purposefully and tactfully omitting is the massive rise of conservative thought in America.  The nation itself was so thoroughly disgusted with 8 years of Barack Obama’s foolish decisions that there was no way in which Hillary Clinton, and admitted third term for Obama, was going to wind up in the Oval Office.  By employing the phrase “alt right”, Podesta has sidestepped the entirety of the free press and the true, untethered media complex that his associates floating the mainstream have worked so hard to bury.

No, Podesta is not the first to float these insane Russian conspiracy theories, but he is one of the most vocal in recent days.
