For a guy with no formal political experience, (other than dealing with NYC’s insane government for decades), Donald Trump sure seems to be taking the White House by storm.
Perhaps it’s because of the way our nation was built. The original concept of American government wasn’t meant to be populated by career politicians who have carved out a niche for themselves as perpetual public servants. Instead, our nation was founded on the principle of equality among the people, and the idea that our government would be filled with citizens and regular people who would represent their districts at the national level.
Instead, we allowed the entire system to transform into the dark and dingy swamp that Donald Trump is looking to drain.
As a citizen President, Trump is taking us back to our roots, and injecting a whole lot of ‘Merica! into the process…something that has the world on notice. This includes the notions Kim regime of North Korea who, soon after drawing the ire of President Trump, capitulated to international demands for disarmament, and is now looking to end the six decade-plus war between themselves and their southerly neighbors.
Trending: Science is Settled
President Donald Trump commented on the historic meetingbetween the leaders of North Korea and South Korea.
“KOREAN WAR TO END! The United States, and all of its GREAT people should be very proud of what is now taking place in Korea!” Trump wrote on Twitter.
The leaders signed a statement recognizing a common goal of “a nuclear-free Korean peninsula” and their desire to officially end the Korean War.
“After a furious year of missile launches and Nuclear testing, a historic meeting between North and South Korea is now taking place,” Trump wrote. “Good things are happening, but only time will tell!”Kim Jong-Un crossed the border into South Korea for the meeting, the first time in history a North Korean leader had done so.
“I came here to put an end to the history of confrontation,” he told the leaders of South Korea.
Trump’s involvement in the historic accord cannot be understated, although the mainstream media is certainly attempting to do just that.
As President Trump pushed sanctions and action on the Korean Peninsula, and with “Mad Dog” James Mattis looming behind him, the North Korean government was given no choice but to come back into the fold. Their already harrowing existence, made horrific by the poverty of the communist regime, was only set to become more tumultuous as the U.S. continued to rain down pressure from above.
