Celebrities of all stripes have long been ignoring the memo: No one wants to hear you spout on and on about your personal political leanings. Ever.
Of course, this isn’t what these Tinsel Town twerps hear. Instead, they tune into the liberal echo chambers of the mainstream media, and frequent the left-leaning safe havens of Facebook and Twitter for their own validation, which they of course find in droves, thusly prompting these celebutantes to continue down their bizarre path of progressive placation.
The self-congratulatory awards shows of the entertainment industry have become a sort of lightning rod for this type of thought-mutation as well, with artists using their time on stage in front of their peers to push political ideologies out into the ether. Given the instant gratification aesthetic of the left’s voter base, these moments often go viral, permeating our otherwise balanced society via the progressive algorithms of social media, exponentially exuding these far off ideals as somehow acceptable.
The latest stunt in this long line of stunts came last night at The Grammy Awards, where Hillary Clinton made a guest appearance reading excerpts from Michael Wolff’s heavily debunked tome Fire and Fury, which details a sordid, but fictional, account of the author’s time within the Trump White House.
This stunt was particularly aggravating for UN Ambassador Nikki Haley, who has been extremely busy righting the wrongs of Clinton’s time as Secretary of State.
“United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley showed some of her own fire and fury after Hillary Clinton and a number of celebrities read portions of a tell-all book critical of the Trump administration at the Grammy Awards.
“’I have always loved the Grammys but to have artists read the Fire and Fury book killed it,’ Haley wrote on Twitter late Sunday during the show. ‘Don’t ruin great music with trash. Some of us love music without the politics thrown in it.’
“President Trump’s son Donald Jr. also lashed out at Clinton on Twitter.
“’Getting to read a #fakenews book excerpt at the Grammys seems like a great consolation prize for losing the presidency. #GrammyAwards,’ he wrote Sunday.”
Haley and Trump Jr. are absolutely correct as well. The left has long been combining their political petulance with their entertainment aesthetics…just look at CNN’s outrageous “news” coverage over the course of the last year if you need further proof.
Again, this is really nothing more than another “resistance” stunt aimed at delegitimizing an enormously popular President. The left are devolving into spoiled, grade school brats before our very eyes, and they are doing untold damage to American culture in the process.
