In a bizarre and wildly inappropriate response to her own dilemma, Kathy Griffin has taken to YouTube to complain to America.
The self-proclaimed D-list celebrity made headlines back in May of 2017 when she posed for a number of photographs in which she recreated an ISIS-style beheading of U.S. President Donald Trump. The stunt, clearly designed to insert the nearly washed-up Griffin back into the public spotlight backfired nearly immediately, as Americans wholeheartedly found the display grotesque and in extremely poor taste. Griffin was the immediate recipient of a major backlash, but the worst was yet to come.
Just a few scant weeks later, an incredibly sobering moment arrived for Griffin and her colleagues in the radical left, as James T. Hodgkinson opened fire on a baseball practice filled with republican congressman before being killed by Capitol Police. Hodgkinson was discovered to be a radical leftist himself, having also worked with the Bernie Sanders presidential campaign before joining a number of extreme liberal organizations on Facebook and then committing his heinous act.
It was not difficult to understand that Kathy Griffin’s horrific stunt was likely the straw that broke the camel’s back as it pertains to the violence of Hodgkinson, which is representative of the radical left as a whole. By normalizing gruesome violence against her political enemies, Griffin and others like her essentially held the door open for men like Hodgkinson to act.
Now, as Americans continue to reject the ideas of these violent and anarchic liberals, Kathy Griffin has somehow mustered the audacity to complain about her lack of professional work.
“In a new YouTube video, the comedian complained about not being able to find work after she says she was blacklisted by Hollywood for posing with a severed, bloodied head of President Trump.“‘I’m getting a lot of online hate from trolls who think I’ve lost my mind. And I am admitting I lost my mind because it’s what made me a star in the first place,’ she said in the video titled ‘Kathy Griffin’s State of the Union.’
“‘I’m fully in the middle of a blacklist, a Hollywood blacklist. It is real. I’m not booked on any talk shows. I’m selling tickets worldwide which is really hard when you don’t have any kind of a television platform and kind of nobody has your back,’ the 57-year-old lamented.
“The former reality TV personality said that while many think she’s crazy, others think she is on to something.”
Griffin’s bizarre belief that her fame should just come naturally is also indicative of another misguided attitude that the left loves to share: Entitlement.
In the case of the former CNN personality, Griffin’s own choices have created her current hardship, and absolutely nothing is owed to her by the American people on whom she relies to stay wealthy. By creating a situation where a vast majority of the country will look upon her in disgust, the longtime comedian surely understood the reactions that she would receive, and her current “retribution” is more than assuredly self-inflicted.
