There is an enormous void on the left side of American politics where the democrats’ dignity used to reside.
For decades, liberals and progressives have been shedding their shame piece by piece, slowly transforming into the shallow and callous vermin that they truly are underneath. Now, with a catalyst for Commander in Chief, these repugnant excuses for politicians have reached their final form: A multi-headed beast hellbent on destroying Donald Trump and the republican party by any means necessary, metaphorically and literally.
From the time of his election, Donald Trump has kept the Secret Service extremely busy. Liberal dissent has turned ugly during this fledgling presidency, with riots and violence becoming the new norm for these miscreants. Their latest artistic attacks on the President have been reenactments of his death, some so vivid that they caused the young Barron Trump to cry for his mother.
Now, another troupe of actors and actresses have taken to the practice of mock assassination, turning the heads, and the stomachs, of horrified theater-goers.
Trending: Science is Settled
“New York’s Public Theater is running a modernized version of Shakespeare’s Julius Ceaser, which features POTUS Donald Trump as the protagonist.
“In the play’s most iconic scene, the character, clearly intended to be the President is gruesomely stabbed to death.
“The Ceaser character has light hair and wears a suit with a long coat and a long royal blue tie, just like Trump.
“Ceaser’s wife, Calpurnia, has been made to look exactly like the first lady Melania Trump, and even speaks with an eastern European accent.
“The theater-goer, Laura Sheaffer, described the murder scene as ‘shocking’ with blood ‘spewing everywhere.’
“’They had the full murder scene onstage, and blood was spewing everywhere out of his body,’ she said. ‘To be honest I thought it was shocking and distasteful. If this had happened to any other president — even as recently as Barack Obama or George W. Bush — it would not have flown. People would have been horrified.’”
Sheaffer’s point is one that a great many Americans have already made. Donald Trump, the fairly elected President of these United States, has been allegorically removed from the Oval Office by the “resist” movement who refuse to recognize his position or authority.
It makes for a sad moment in modern America, in which the President, the man we chose to lead us for the next four years, is not allowed the respect deserved of the office or the accomplishment of winning it. By making carte blanche refusals to work in any capacity with the President, how can America continue to succeed? American success helps us all, and perhaps that is why the democrats fear it so.
