The lines between politics and entertainment are continuing to blur in 2017, as fiction and journalism meld into some bizarre fantasy world for the liberals.
By far, one of the most astounding stories of the year so far has been the advent of “fake news” by companies such as CNN. Originally conceptualized by the Hillary Clinton campaign as a way to delegitimize the Free Press that was overwhelmingly in support of Donald Trump, “fake news” is now synonymous with liberal mainstream media sources who often employ highly partisan punditry and deceit in their coverage, as evidenced by at least one stunt during the coverage of Hurricane Harvey this past week.
On top of this bizarre fiction, there has been a wild and unnerving trend among Hollywood’s writers and personalities to take every opportunity possible to tear authority away from our Commander in Chief. This star-studded propaganda has been outright sickening to watch, as once-powerful actors and actresses devolve into poorly-educated heathens hellbent on destroying American democracy.
Now, one of entertainment’s biggest names has apparently gotten involved as well, with HBO’s Game Of Thrones throwing a subtle jab at the President in their recent season finale.
“Liam Cunningham, who plays pirate-turned-King’s hand Davos Seaworth in the show, revealed to Variety magazine how ‘meaningful’ Snow’s speech about honest leaders was supposed to resonate with a nation in chaos.
“‘That speech that Jon Snow gave about the nature of lies and what’s been said, and what happens if we don’t stick to our word — we filmed that on exactly the day that a certain POTUS was elected and it had incredible resonance while we were filming it,’ Cunningham told Variety.
“Unfortunately for the show’s stars, the finale aired months after Trump was sworn into office — and while Trump may have a history of not keeping his promises, his opponent’s record of honesty, well, leaves quite a bit to be desired. Next time they attend a fundraiser, perhaps they should ask her about her testimony before Congress on the matter of a certain incident in Libya.”
Hollywood’s nearly complete ignorance of the crimes of Hillary Clinton has translated into an abomination of Tinsel Town’s once-fierce independent streak.
Now, as Americans grow weary of the fiction that we see every day on our television news stations, bearing witness to even more nonsense at an overpriced movie theater is unpalatable. This year’s box office rake has been abysmal at best, with U.S. citizens turning away from Hollywood precisely due to its overwhelming bias.
