Game Show Host Chuck Woolery Delivers Help to our Soldiers in Need

Game show host Chuck Woolery knows what it means to be a patriot, and he and some conservative friends of his are stepping up to give our soldiers a hand.

With the government shutdown, our heroic men and women in the armed services will be without pay – even though they’ll have to continue working. Meanwhile, our politicians in Congress will continue to get paid – even though they’ll technically stop working. Does that make any sense to you? Particularly considering that it’s congressional Democrats who shut the government down in the first place?

It didn’t make much sense to Woolery and his friend Mark Young either. The two men have come together and decided that they would try to raise enough money to help all of our soldiers (and their families) through this trying time.

The two men took to Twitter to explain what they had planned:

Young explained that the two men wanted to loan money to our troops to help their families make it through the next few weeks without their paychecks.

Our troops will not go without. @chuckwoolery and I are working on a plan to loan $$ interest free to military in need. I am putting up the first $1,000,000 personally and asking others to join us. #SchumersShutdown be damned. Heroes first @realDonaldTrump @DonaldJTrumpJr

Then Woolery followed up, rubbing the Democrats’ noses in the fact that while they chose to sit idly by and shut the government down, real Americans would step up to support their neighbors.

Hey @SenSchumer we the people of the USA will not let you hold our fighting men and women hostage for illegals. If you won’t allow them to be paid, America will do it without you. Just like @realDonaldTrump has done with everything else. @MarkYoungTruth @JayLucasNH

While Woolery may mean this as a thumb in the eye to the Democrats, there is no doubt that he is doing a tremendous amount of good. Many of our soldiers make far less than the average American family, all while they are forced to put their lives at risk for us and their families are made to move from base to base on regular intervals. It’s a hard life, made more difficult by the Democrats decision to shut our government down.

Thankfully, there are patriots like Chuck Woolery and Mark Young who are trying to make life just a bit easier for our military heroes.
