The shocking truth regarding Democratic Senator Al Franken has caused quite the stir in Washington as of late.
The former Saturday Night Live cast member found himself a part of America’s sexual harassment awakening just days ago after abhorrent accusations by female journalist Leann Tweeden surfaced. According to Tweeden, Franken once proposed an uncomfortable kiss between the two while writing a skit for a USO tour that both were participating in. When Tweeden declined, Franked assaulted her anyway, pervertedly inserting his tongue into her mouth.
This action occurred after Franken had posed for a photograph in which he was seen groping Tweeden’s breasts while she slept, solidifying his status as yet another liberal pig.
In the ensuing mess, Franken was accused by at least seven more women of inappropriate sexual conduct and his democratic bosses finally began calling for his resignation days later. Now, Franken has announce that he will be heeding their advice.
“Sen. Al Franken, D-Minn., says he will be resigning from the Senate amid multiple accusations of sexual misconduct.
“On Wednesday, about two-thirds of the Democrats in the Senate — including almost all of the women in the Senate Democratic Caucus — called for Franken to step down. Among those urging him to resign were the top three Democrats in the chamber — Minority Leader Chuck Schumer of New York, Sen. Dick Durbin of Illinois and Sen. Patty Murray of Washington. In addition, Tom Perez, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, also called for Franken to step down.
Now, Franken’s hope for an investigation clearing his name are all but gone, as the embattled politician will be thankfully stepping down.
During this time of increased sexual awareness in America, we have come to notice the undeniable truth that a vast majority of the accused abusers have hailed from left-leaning political backgrounds, opening the democratic party up to accusations of using the “social justice” movement as a cover up or a projection in order to conceal their own shame.
