Fox Viewers Force Network’s Hand Regarding $10M Impeachment Ad

There is a very strange and pervasive feeling spreading throughout the left side of American politics regarding the President and the people of America.

Somewhere over the course of the last 12 months, liberals the nation over have been an extreme form of denial surrounding the election of President Trump.  The shock was so great, in fact, that a number of bizarre and unbelievable theories were invented to explain to the leftists just how they lost the election.

These pieces of pure fantasy range from your run-of-the-mill vote machine manipulation, all the way to the theory that the President is secretly a Russian double agent from the Kremlin.  These whimsical tales are seemingly the only way that the left can cope with the fact that President Trump won the 2016 contest fair and square.

Now, as radical leftists pour literally millions of dollars into their pathetic “resistance” movement, one result has been a near constant hum of calls for the President to be impeached.  (For what, they don’t know…they just want him gone).  One such exclamation was recently aired on Fox News after a prominent left wing agitation group purchased an advertisement on the network stating their intentions.

Now, after massive amounts of feedback from viewers, the news station has been forced to take action regarding the uncouth bit of resistance programming.

“Tom Steyer, the Democratic mega-donor who launched a $10 million television ad campaign calling for President Trump’s impeachment, has hit a snag – Fox News has just canceled his ads after receiving complaints from viewers.

“CNN’s Brian Stelter posted the announcement on Twitter Monday afternoon, stating, ‘Fox News confirms: “Due to the strong negative reaction to their ad by our viewers, we could not in good conscience take their money.’

“Steyer has blasted the decision, tweeting out Monday: ‘Fox News trying to silence the 1.7 million who have already signed our impeachment petition.’

“On Oct. 31, Steyer admitted that Fox News had informed him they would not be airing the ad, entitled ‘Join Us,’ and claimed their decision ‘shows no respect for democracy.’

“’Millions of Americans have raised their voices in opposition to Donald Trump,’ Steyer said in a statement released on Friday. ‘If Fox News is siding with Trump and trying to silence us, they must be afraid of what we have to say. It shows no respect for democracy.'”

Steyer’s wildly inaccurate nonsense was not lost on many however, and the pushback against his ridiculous claims has already begun.

As many Americans do recall, Donald Trump was elected President by the American people – not some shady consortium of crooked Kremlin cretins – and those people have found no reason for begin impeachment of the President.  At all.  Steyer and the liberals still ignore the reality of their fellow countrymen in their fight against Trump, believing that they alone speak for the nation.

Not so fast, pal.  Your side was outnumbered this go-round.
