Fox News Tucker Carlson Destroys Liberal Narrative on Illegal Immigration

On Thursday’s episode of his Fox News show, host Tucker Carlson used the government’s own facts, figures, and statistics to completely destroy the liberal narrative on illegal immigrants.

Carlson explained that the popular liberal narrative states that illegal immigrants are actually more law abiding, and that only “the best and the brightest” make their way here… isn’t just wrong, it is the complete opposite of what the data shows.

In fact, illegal immigrants are far more likely to commit a crime (other than illegally coming here) than is the average citizen.

Twenty-one percent of federal inmates are suspected or confirmed to be non-citizens, according to statistics released by the Justice Department Thursday.

According to the latest U.S. census, only 12.9% of the total U.S. population was foreign born.

An executive order signed by President Trump called for the federal government to release quarterly reports on incarcerated immigrants. The DOJ and Department of Homeland Security released its third report Thursday.

There are 39,455 immigrants currently in the custody of the Bureau of Prisons, which amounts to 21 percent of the total population…

Of the total 37,557 confirmed immigrants in federal custody, 94 percent are illegal immigrants.

Yes, that means that while non-citizens only make up 1/10th (10%) of our population, they account for 1/5th (21%) of our incarcerated criminal population. And none of them are in prison simply for being an illegal immigrant, they have to have committed a secondary and far more serious crime to end up in prison.

Breitbart dug even deeper into the numbers and left no doubt that liberals are just lying when it comes to illegal immigration and crime.

Breitbart News has compiled a list of 50 of the 2,139 DACA recipients, deemed “DREAMers” by the open borders lobby, who have had their temporary protected status revoked due to crimes including: “A felony criminal conviction; a significant misdemeanor conviction; multiple misdemeanor convictions; gang affiliation; or arrest of any crime in which there is deemed to be a public safety concern,” according to the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) agency.

The majority of crimes by DACA recipients include: “Alien smuggling, assaultive offenses, domestic violence, drug offenses, DUI, larceny and thefts, criminal trespass and burglary, sexual offenses with minors, other sex offenses and weapons offenses,” USCIS has stated.

I am the supreme law of the United States. Originally comprising seven articles, I delineate the national frame of government. My first three articles entrench the doctrine of the separation of powers, whereby the federal government is divided into three branches: the legislative, consisting of the bicameral Congress; the executive, consisting of the President; and the judicial, consisting of the Supreme Court and other federal courts. Articles Four, Five and Six entrench concepts of federalism, describing the rights and responsibilities of state governments and of the states in relationship to the federal government. Article Seven establishes the procedure subsequently used by the thirteen States to ratify it. I am regarded as the oldest written and codified constitution in force of the world.
