The globalist push open up the world’s borders to Syrian refugees, and possibly terrorists, has been widely lambasted as a dangerous folly of leftist nonsense.
In Europe, where terrorism has found a new home in recent months, the EU’s incessant and foolish insistence on mandating that member nations receive a quota of refugees has been the victim of widespread criticism among security experts and sovereign nations. Poland, Hungary, and Slovakia have all refused to comply with the order, citing the admission by ISIS and other caliphate-based terror groups that they are indeed exploiting the EU’s ridiculous policy to infiltrate Europe with jihadists posing as migrants seeking asylum.
In America, the migrant crisis is a bit less severe for the time being, but that hasn’t stopped the left and their mainstream media hacks from attempting to further the concept. In the case of CNN, which has been on the receiving end of some serious, network-killing criticisms just this week, that means resorting to interviewing Sesame Street characters to further their point.
“CNN ran a story on Monday describing the ‘wonderful’ visit of Sesame Street character Elmo to a refugee camp in Syria, where he concludes that ‘refugee kids are just like us.’
“’They like to play and learn just like Elmo and all his friends at Sesame Street,’ Elmo said during an interview broadcast on CNN via Facebook Live. ‘Elmo thinks it’s important to know that everybody is the same deep down and that’s very important.’
“The bizarre story comes amidst a rising problem of credibility at the network. On Monday, three CNN employees resigned over a fake news scandal in which they were forced to retract a hit piece pertaining to Donald Trump and his associates.
“Meanwhile, footage obtained by investigative journalist James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas showed a senior CNN producer admitting that the network’s relentless bashing of President Donald Trump over his alleged links to Russia was ‘mostly bullsh*t.'”
CNN’s logic in countering their own ineptitude with the interviewing of a fictional, liberal character whose career could be in jeopardy due to republican budget cuts is astoundingly bizarre.
President Trump has been instrumental in the media revolution that we are currently experiencing in the United Stats, in which Americans are increasingly questioning the sources of the material that is being forced down their throats. CNN may very well have been getting away with similarly unverifiable content for years under presidential administrations headed by Washington insiders, but in the age of Trump, this political chicanery will not be allowed to stand.
CNN is on its death bed, but from the soil where we bury her will rise a well-fertilized and strong tree of truth, and a new media landscape that Americans deserve.
