In spite of the ample evidence of Donald Trump’s glowing effectiveness as a business-minded President, one well-known journalist has come up with a new attack on the leader of the free world.
The left has created yet another daring ploy to subliminally trick Americans into believing that Donald Trump should be impeached by not-so-subtly comparing a myriad of the President’s actions with those of infamous former President Richard Nixon. “Tricky Dick”, of course, was well known for his impeachment and subsequent resignation in reaction to his Watergate scandal, an incident that many liberals have attempted to liken to the firing of incompetent former FBI chief James Comey by the commander in chief.
In attempting to convince us that Trump and Nixon are one in the same, the radical left has been dredging up a slew of personalities and inconsequential anecdotes about Nixon’s tumultuous time in the White House, including the trotting out of prominent Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein, who has invented a new allegation against the President that you have to read to believe.
“Legendary Watergate reporter Carl Bernstein called the Trump administration a ‘malignant presidency’ on Saturday, and suggested that the wrongdoings committed by the White House were unprecedented.
“Speaking on CNN, Bernstein warned that the Trump administration is ‘not functioning.’
“‘We are in the midst of a malignant presidency,’ Bernstein said. ‘That malignancy is known to the military leaders of the country, it’s known to the Republican leadership in Congress who recognize it, and it’s known to the intelligence community.’
“‘The presidency of Donald Trump is not functioning,’ he continued. ‘It’s really not functioning because the character and capabilities of this president are called into grave question in a way that those that know him are raising serious concerns about.'”
Where Bernstein sees some a lack of efficacy, a vast majority of the nation have seen progress, leading many to believe that Bernstein is simply aligning himself with the current slate of liberal “fake news” propagandists.
Furthermore, to call a Presidency “not functioning” is a massively despicable insult to those who’ve had their lives improved by Donald Trump’s first 6 months in office. From the Ford and Chrysler workers’ families whose lives have been massively improved by the Trump Effect bringing jobs back to the U.S., all the way to the national security successes of this week’s travel ban appeal, Donald Trump’s presidency is only ineffective for the leftists and assassination-obsessed left who simply cannot understand that Hillary Clinton lost in November.
