There have been concerns over the consolidation of Facebook’s publishing power for some time, but the rubber is meeting this road this week as their conservative purge begins.
For years it has been readily apparent that Mark Zuckerberg and his army of liberal coders were not interested in providing a platform for Americans to exercise free speech. Instead, they’ve chosen to cultivate a cult-like liberal lunacy across the social media giant, actively working to censor and stifle conservative voices on Facebook.

For conservative media publishers, this has been particularly damaging, as Facebook has no problem cashing checks for their “sponsored” content, but, at the same time, allowing liberal users to flag these actual news stories as “offensive”, thus negating their intended reach.
And, worse still – there is no recourse of the free press of the right wing. Facebook has grown at a rate that has eluded the need for publisher or broadcaster regulation, hiding behind the fact that they are the only website of their kind with such an impact in America.
Zuckerberg and clan are acting with impunity and immunity, steering Americans left, swiftly and repeatedly, like some sort of demented NASCAR driver with a giant Planned Parenthood decal on their hood.
Now, the progressively-partial platform is taking action against Donald Trump’s supporters, claiming that they are a “danger” to America…namely, Diamond and Silk – two famous African American women who were vociferously defensive of the President.
“Diamond And Silk have been corresponding since September 7, 2017, with Facebook (owned by Mark Zuckerberg), about their bias censorship and discrimination against D&S brand page,” they wrote.
“Finally after several emails, chats, phone calls, appeals, beating around the bush, lies, and giving us the run around, Facebook gave us another bogus reason why Millions of people who have liked and/or followed our page no longer receives notification and why our page, post and video reach was reduced by a very large percentage,” echoing the complaints of many conservative and pro-Trump pages. Here is the reply from Facebook. Thu, Apr 5, 2018 at 3:40 PM: “The Policy team has came to the conclusion that your content and your brand has been determined unsafe to the community.”
The pair say it took “6 Months, 29 days, 5 hrs, 40 minutes and 43 seconds” to get a response, which they add the network said is “final and it is not appeal-able in any way.”
They posed several questions to Facebook and Zuckerberg, including, “What is unsafe about two Blk-women supporting the President Donald J. Trump?”
“Unsafe to the community”? Give us a break. The only thing unsafe here is the total lack of respect for the First Amendment that Mark Zuckerberg and his team have shown throughout this process.
We must remember, always, that there are no shades of freedom. You’re never “sort of” free…you either have freedom, or you do not. As it turns out, according to Facebook, the latter is true.
