There have been a number of strange conspiracies regarding the left’s plan to decimate The Donald Trump presidency, and now an evangelical pastor is claiming to have knowledge of yet another.
From the moment that Donald Trump became the President-Elect, a “resistance” movement among the liberal left has vowed to somehow remove him from office. There were talks of impeachment spanning the days beforepathetic the inauguration, all the way to just days ago when articles were introduced in congress to achieve just that. That incident resulted in a pathetic single cosponsor for the democrats – a sure sign that impeachment is completely off the table at this juncture.
Other harebrained schemes by the left have included a delegitimization of the election results by blaming Russian hackers for tampering with ballot tallies, assassination attempts, invoking a terribly misguided interpretation of the 25th Amendment, and various other “deep state” coups. This latest attempt, allegedly discussed by a longterm member of congress, is still shrouded in mystery.
“An evangelical pastor claims he met with a senior Republican Congressman who told him of a plot to ‘remove Trump suddenly from office’.
“During an appearance on Revival Ministries International, Rodney Howard-Browne said he spent three hours ‘from 9:30 in the evening until 12:30am with one of the senior ranking members of Congress’.
“The pastor said he related the same story on the CBN network but ‘they cut it out’ and that he had decided ‘to go public with this because we have to.’
“’He said there is a plot on Capitol Hill to take the president out, I said you mean by impeachment or by indictment – he said no, to take him out, he will be removed suddenly from office,’ said Howard-Browne, before adding, ‘you can read between the lines’.
“If what the Congressman told Howard-Browne is true, it would appear that the deep state is frustrated with how slow the Russia-collusion investigation is proceeding and may be prepared to take extreme measures.”
This isn’t the first time that Donald Trump has been threatened from within the government that he oversees, and it certainly won’t be the last either.
The controversial President has spent much of his first 8 months in office deflecting attack after attack on his character, his family, his politics, and his business record. There has been little time for much else, causing a stagnation in Washington D.C. that completes the vicious circle of criticism being harnessed by the left and their so-called “resistance”. Trump, for all of this aspirations, is in a bit of quagmire with this overwhelming opposition to his policies and persona, making every imaginable threat to his presidency seem all the more realistic.
