Eric Holder is The Latest to Push for Escalation Against Republicans

Michelle Obama didn’t know it at the time, but she made one of the most darkly hilarious jokes of all time back in 2016.

During that time, there was a contentious battle taking place for the soul of America.  Would we turn the reigns over to Hillary Clinton, whose long list of questionable decisions had disqualified her from elected office in the eyes of a great many Americans, or would we press the “big red button” that Donald Trump represented?  We know now what choice was made, but in the months leading up to Trump’s victory, much of the world believed that Hillary would rise to the occasion somehow.

Spoiler alert:  We’re making America great again.

Just before America headed to the polls, when the race between Clinton and Trump began to turn ugly, then-first lady Michelle Obama made an enormous splash with her statement that “when they go low, we go high”, claiming that the democrats would always be a beacon of civility and decorum in this nation.

Spoiler alert:  The liberals have begun attempting to assassinate conservatives, and are openly waging a New Civil War against their fellow countrymen.

Now, in what is a sublimely perfect take on how Michelle O’s message has been completely abandoned by the vitriolic left, former Attorney General Eric Holder has paraphrased her so truthfully that it hurts.

In the debate over whether Democrats should go low against President Donald Trump and Republican lawmakers or rise above partisan attacks, count former Attorney General Eric Holder as an advocate of getting into the gutter.

Holder, while campaigning in Georgia on Sunday, told an audience that he disagreed with former first lady Michelle Obama’s much touted mantra, “When they go low, we go high.”
“It is time for us as Democrats to be as tough as they are, to be as dedicated as they are, to be as committed as they are,” Holder said. “Michelle always says, Michelle Obama, I love her. She and my wife are really tight. Which always scares me and Barack. Michelle always says, ‘When they go low, we go high.’ No. No. When they go low, we kick them.”
Holder went on to claim that he didn’t want to incite anything “inappropriate”, but, given the dog-whistle reactions of men such as James T. Hodgkinson and the arsonists in Oregon, there is little chance that Holder didn’t realize that his words could easily be misconstrued.
