Email Nightmare Continues as FBI Reopens Hillary’s Case

Some issues seem never to get resolved. We are continually made to deal with them, over and over. Or worse, one development follows on the heels of another. It seems to no more than die down, and the new thing gets it started up again. This must be the way it feels for Presidential Candidate Hillary Clinton.

For the last year, she has been dodging and fighting off accusation after accusation that she mishandled classified information on her unsecured email. Her irresponsible if not illegal action has drug on infinitely. And though FBI Director Comey declared the case closed in July, it is open once more.

The FBI has reopened its investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private server while secretary of state after discovering new emails, in a stunning turn of events just days before the presidential election.

FBI Director James Comey wrote in a letter to top members of Congress Friday that the bureau has “learned of the existence of emails that appear to be pertinent to the investigation.”

He told lawmakers the investigative team briefed him on the information a day earlier, “and I agreed that the FBI should take appropriate investigative steps designed to allow investigators to review these emails to determine whether they contain classified information, as well as to assess their importance to our investigation.”

There is no way of knowing what if anything this will mean for her election bid. But the timing could not be worse. Just as Clinton had gained a lead in the polls, there is another reason for her to slip.

I wonder if they will still indict her if she is POTUS?
