I’m sorry to say it, but the liberal left has been attempting to turn American conservatives into second class citizens from the moment that Donald Trump won the republican nomination back in 2016.
Trump terrifies the democrats. He’s the populist savior of our archetypal stories, attempting to wrestle control of our government away from the corrupt corporate interests that have wallet-ed their way into Washington D.C. and have been funding the so-called Deep State for decades. The fossil fuel industry, Big Agriculture outfits such as Monsanto, and the evil-incarnate known as Big Pharma, have all been trampling on the well-being of our nation and its people since their induction into the political process.
Donald Trump isn’t having it, and that has scared the democrats to their core.
This carte blanche hatred of the President and his followers has manifested itself in dire, damning ways over the course of the last 18 months, with violence and bloodshed becoming the new norms for the radicalized democratic masses.
Now, even our fellow countrymen and small business owners are being attacked by the leftist mobs even when supporting conservative journalists.
It only took 10 minutes before the Uncle Loui’s Cafe Facebook page was bombarded with comments.
The owners had just announced they would be hosting Fox & Friends on Thursday for their morning news segment.
“There were people that were congratulating us and then there were some people that were very angry,” said Matt Berthiaume, the general manager of the cafe. “There were some regulars that come in and now don’t want to eat here anymore, which is unfortunate.”
Berthiaume said hosting the morning news segment is an attempt to increase exposure for the restaurant. Instead, the simple business decision turned their Facebook page into a brouhaha of invective being hurled back and forth.
Of course, reality didn’t have any bearing on the anarchist liberal attacks.
“We’ll see what happens. There were negative comments and people who had never been in here before were slandering the cleanliness of this restaurant,” Berthiaume said.
Coinciding with President Donald Trump’s visit to Duluth on Wednesday, the network called the local eatery last week hoping to broadcast from the restaurant the day after the rally. Berthiaume said he thinks his mother and Uncle Loui’s owner, Debra Strop, didn’t fully realize how some people would perceive the decision.
“My mom’s so apolitical — she just wants to feed people,” Berthiaume said. “She just wants people to come in. It’s great exposure for our restaurant, which I can’t blame her for. If it wasn’t us, it’d be somebody else.”
It’s a sad day in America when a business owner seeking publicity becomes a political act worthy of hatred, lies, and slander.
Yet, here we are, watching the democrats devolve into a mumbling, cursing pile of pathetic crocodile tears on the floor in front of us. I, on the other hand, are looking forward to trying some of Uncle Loui’s famous breakfast dishes.
Don’t tell anyone I said this, but that looks even better than Waffle House.
