My fellow countrymen and women, we need to spend some time working on how we treat one another in this vitriolic age of spin and the corporately controlled media.
It is terrifying, truly, that the mainstream media is now open to using the phrase “Civil War” in regard to America. Where our first foray into self-immolation was dubbed The War Between The States, this second go at it is far more akin to a War Between The Aisles. (Let’s make sure you remember where you heard that first…).
That means that, instead of splitting the nation geographically, we are splitting it up by individual American. This is wholly absurd, and more than dangerous. This is the ultimate manipulation from above, having us war with one another while the fat cats atop of the globalist pile continue milking us of the money they gave us in order to keep us needing.
Yes, this is a big-big picture item that would take generations of work to overcome, but it’s worth mentioning when We The People, the most powerful force of humanity ever in existence on this planet, starts arguing over who is the bigger meanie-head.
When Maxine Waters tell her constituents that they should form mobs to harass and target conservatives, that’s wrong. What would the reaction be if she suggested targeting a different demographic or occupation? You choose the demographic to replace “conservatives” with…it’s still an awful sentiment.
But now, those who disagree with Maxine Waters, and believe that this was an inflammatory misstep, are being called “racist”, and being publicly slandered for their civility.
Sen. Chuck Schumer and Rep. Nancy Pelosi are now being condemned by a number of African-American leaders after distancing themselves from Rep. Maxine Waters’ rhetoric encouraging the harassment of Trump cabinet members.
Politico reports that in a letter sent to the two Democratic leaders on July 3rd, “Black Women Leaders and Allies” expressed their “profound indignation and deep disappointment over your recent failure to protect Congresswoman Waters from unwarranted attacks from the Trump Administration and others in the GOP.”
The letter continues:
“That failure was further compounded by your decision to unfairly deride her as being ‘uncivil’ and ‘un-American.’ In doing so, we believe this mischaracterizes her call to action for peaceful democratic assembly and the exercise of her constitutional rights to free speech in support of defenseless immigrant children and their families.”
The left has been throwing the “R” word around a whole heck of a lot lately, attempting to rebrand republicans, libertarians, and all manner of right wing political pontificators as peddlers of hate speech.
This dangerous, polarizing rhetoric has undoubtedly led to the violence that we’ve seen in America one rtes course of the last few weeks. Now, if there are consequences such as this for decrying political escalation, I don’t see a way out for the democratic party except through sheer, violent implosion.
