The disintegration of the democratic party is in full swing these days, as the 2016 presidential election comes under increasing scrutiny surrounding the one year anniversary of the contest.
In that election, career politician and assumed democratic shoe-in for President, Hillary Clinton, was stunned by now-President Donald Trump in the electoral college, with America’s chosen electors roundly rejecting the corrupt and conniving Clinton. The democratic diva was so taken aback, in fact, that she had not even prepared a concession speech and was unable to officially congratulate Trump and concede the election until later the following day.
Now, as we become farther removed from the events of that fateful night, a clearer picture of the entire electoral process is coming to light thanks to whistleblowers and democratic defectors who are ready to spill the beans.
One such person is interim DNC chair Donna Brazile, who herself was implicated in a Clinton scheme to gain early access to debate questions. Brazile, in her new tell-all book, has described a series of immoral actions by the Clinton campaign, in collusion with the DNC itself, that led the former First Lady directly to the nomination after a “hostile takeover” of the party.
Trending: Science is Settled
Now, as Brazile faces increasing criticisms from the democrats whom she betrayed, she has been forced to explain why she chose to publicly out the Clinton collusion. Her answer is stunning.
“Former interim head of the Democratic National Committee Donna Brazile appeared to back away Wednesday from some of the most sensational claims made in her recently released tell-all about last year’s presidential election.
“In an interview on Fox News’ ‘Tucker Carlson Tonight,’ Brazile described her book as a ‘forensic examination’ of the failures of the DNC and Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign.
“‘I wanted to write this book to tell my story,’ Brazile told host Tucker Carlson of her memoir, called ‘Hacks.’ ‘I wanted the American people to see what happened.’
“Previously released excerpts from Brazile’s book accused Clinton’s top male campaign staffers of sexist treatment. But on Wednesday night, Brazile ascribed her conflicts with campaign manager Robby Mook to ‘generational’ differences.
“‘Remember, I come from the old school,” Brazile said. ‘I come from the school [where] you actually knock on doors, you talk to people, you try to get their support [and] then you try to get them out on Election Day. Robby comes from a school that is a lot different … they do algorithms, they do data modeling.’
“Brazile called the Clinton campaign ‘condescending and dismissive’ toward her and complained that she didn’t have total control of the party’s resources.”
While it would be difficult to agree with Donna Brazile on any great variety of things, we can set aside our political differences to commend her on thinking of the American people first and foremost.
Brazile has outlined an incredibly deceitful reality within the DNC in which Hillary Clinton’s campaign team essentially staged a coup within the organization’s ranks. This was accomplished by a massive influx of Clinton cash into the heavily in debt group in exchange for assistance in defeating primary rival Bernie Sanders.
