Democrats Invite Alleged Associates of Terrorists to State of Union Speech

from Youtube

If Democrats are trying to prove that all Muslims aren’t terrorists, two members of Congress are doing a lousy job. Representatives Zoe Lofgren (D-CA) and Alcee Hastings (D-Fl.) will host representatives from the Council on American Islamic Relations (CAIR) at tonight’s State of the Union Address. The FBI identified CAIR as an organization associated with terrorist groups Hamas and The Muslim Brotherhood. CAIR was also named as an un-indicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land trial.

Lofgren is bringing Sameena Usman, from CAIR’s San Francisco office; Hastings is bringing Nezar Hamze from CAIR’s Florida branch.

CAIR officials adamantly deny any involvement with either Hamas or the Muslim Brotherhood. However, a 2010 letter from Assistant Attorney General Welch evidences that the Department of Justice has not wavered in its conclusion that the internal records it possesses prove a connection.

The United Arab Emirates also designated CAIR as a terrorist organization, and despite pressure it has refused to change that designation.

CAIR’s terrorist ties and Anti-American activities have been well documented. The question remains: “Why are two members of Congress bringing people associated with terrorism as guests to the State of the Union Address in our nation’s capitol?”
