There has been a bizarre belief among the lunatic left that Donald Trump’s continued success will only behoove the democrats’ chances in the 2018 midterm elections.
Never mind that this foolhardy prophecy completely contradicts the laws of politics, (and reality for that matter). The left is hellbent on the idea that the mere presence of Donald Trump in the Oval Office for 20 months will be enough to repulse undecided voters into joining The Dark Side.
In reality, it is quite apparent that the left will be in for a rude awakening come the next set of governmental contests, as the American conservative awakening seems to show no signs of slowing down whatsoever.
This reality may now begin creeping into the mindset of the democratic hopefuls, after a a recent poll has provided sobering results for the left.
“A poll released on Monday by Axios found Democrats to be far more personally fearful of 2018 than Republicans.
“Fifty-five percent of Democratic respondents said they were personally hopeful for the new year, but 44% said they were fearful.
“This was in stark contrast to Republicans participating in the survey, who were overwhelmingly (90%) hopeful for the year 2018; only 9% were personally fearful for the upcoming year.”
The left’s inappropriate “fear” could very well be chalked up to their own propaganda efforts over the course of the 2016 presidential election, in which they constantly attempted to defame incoming President Donald Trump as some sort of apocalyptic figure in the mythos of America.
It is certainly possible that this apprehension that the left feels about 2018 has much more to do with their own doom and gloom predictions for the future than it does the reality of the Trump administration. If the democrats need any more proof of their own exaggeration they needn’t look any further than Wall Street, where economic experts have been widely astounded by the overwhelming success of President Donald Trump when it comes to the nation’s fiscal fixtures.
