The world of democratic Hollywood and Washingtonian politics are colliding once again as yet another prominent liberal is being accused of gross sexual misconduct.
In this instance, the merging of Tinseltown and D.C. is far more literal, as former Saturday Night Live cast member and current Minnesota Senator Al Franken has been accused of heinously groping a female journalist while participating in a USO tour abroad. Worse still, Franken then created an opportunity to forcefully assault said journalist during a skit, in front of a crowd of American troops.
“Leeann Tweeden, a journalist who anchors the morning news at TalkRadio 790 KABC in Los Angeles, California, is accusing Senator Al Franken (D-MN) of fondling her while asleep and shoving his tongue down her throat without her consent.
“According to Tweeden, the unwanted kiss occurred during rehearsal for a USO skit. She believes Franken (who was married) intentionally wrote a skit for the two of them so he would have an excuse to kiss her, something she did not want to do. She says that Franken insisted they rehearse until it got uncomfortable and she relented. This is when she alleges he ‘aggressively’ shoved his tongue in her mouth…”
Tweeden was forced to improvise during the skit, turning her head and surprising the predatory Franken when his tongue landed smack dab on her cheek.
Even more despicable was Senator Franken’s behavior after the attempted assault. During an autograph signing, Tweeden claims that Franken continuously harassed her by making repeated insults aimed at the journalist and defacing photographs of Tweeden that were provided for the event.
Meanwhile, the democrats in Washington have been leading an incredibly profound witch hunt of conservative politicians who are now being accused of sexual improprieties. In the case of Alabama’s Roy Moore, the left has been pushing a series of unverifiable and conveniently timed decades-old allegations in an attempt to push the swamp-draining republican out of the Senate race.
In the case of Al Franken, however, there are pictures to prove it.
