Donald Trump’s time in office has been a political awakening for many Americans, but it hasn’t sat well with the Washington establishment.
Trump was an “outsider” candidate from the very start. His combination of no political experience and no military career makes him unique to the Oval Office, and that is precisely why he was able to handily defeat career politician Hillary Clinton during the 2016 election. The American people were sick and tired of business as usual on the Beltway, and chose to shake things up a bit.
Judge Roy Moore of Alabama is seen as a man firmly entrenched in this new wave of conservatism as well. The republican candidate is currently in the midst of a runoff election after thoroughly defeating a republican contender just weeks ago for the honor. Of course, this has put an enormous target on his back.
That target was struck this week, as several coordinated statements were released by alleged “victims” of Moore’s sexual misconduct over three decades ago. Moore has completely denied the allegations, and a great many in Alabama are convinced that these accusations are nothing more than a smear campaign against the candidate.
Now, the identity of one such accuser has been revealed, and her connection to the radical left belies her true intentions.
“One of the women accusing Republican Senate candidate Roy Moore of sexual impropriety reportedly worked as a sign language interpreter for Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign, a new report claims.
“Deborah Wesson Gibson, who told The Washington Post that she briefly dated Moore when she was 17 and he was 34, founded the language interpreting company, Signs of Excellence, and has worked for a number of democratic campaigns, according to Alabama Local News.
“The company’s Facebook page shows Gibson working for and posing with several Democrats at political rallies including 2016 presidential nominee Hillary Clinton, former Vice President Joe Biden, former Sen. Patrick Murphy, D-Fla., and Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla.”
Gibson’s claims against Moore are bizarre, to say the least, and have spawned a great deal of doubt regarding the validity of the assertions.
Gibson told the press than she and Moore dated for several months, with two kisses being the extent to which the couple was physical. Gibson was about to graduate high school and Moore was in his thirties at the time, and that age difference is the entire basis for her accusations of “misconduct”.
