In the world of American politics, few things are as predictable as an overreaction from a crybaby democrat, especially as it pertains to President Donald Trump.
The latest faux outrage from the congressional democrats comes to us directly from Washington, mere hours after FBI Director James Comey testified that Russia was not responsible for a single vote tallying abnormality during the 2016 American presidential election. Not satisfied that her party’s witch hunt hadn’t produced any tangible evidence against the President, one California congresswoman made a final, last-ditch effort to vilify Russia and thrust our nation into another Cold War.
“Rep. Jackie Speier (D-Calif.) raised eyebrows during today’s House Intelligence Committee when she claimed Russia had committed an ‘act of war’ against the United States, before being subsequently panned for a bizarre metaphor involving a tarantula.
“During testimony by FBI Director James Comey and National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers into whether Russia interfered in the presidential election, Speier asserted , without citing any evidence, that Moscow had launched “hybrid warfare”.
“Both Comey and Rogers refused to agree that Russia had engaged in any type of ‘warfare,’ but Speier went on to argue that they did.
“’I actually think that their engagement was an act of war, an act of hybrid warfare and I think that’s why the American people should be concerned about it,’ she said.”
Herein lies the problem with the democrats: They are willing to use ridiculous rhetoric, at any cost, to delegitimize the presidency of Donald Trump. Speier’s comments were not only unbelievable and unfounded, but they carry with them the weight of an American congresswoman and a sense of severity that our precariously perched acquaintances in Moscow may not take kindly to.
