Democrat Senator Stuns Liberal Audience into Silence and Despair with these Comments about Trump

Editorial credit: Rob Crandall /

I don’t think the liberal snowflakes in San Francisco were expecting to be shocked into silence and then angered into jeering in such a short period of time… especially while listening to one of their favorite leftwing politicians.

But that’s exactly what happened earlier this week.

One of California’s leftist Senators, Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) was speaking to a leftwing crowd at the Herbst Theater in San Francisco on Tuesday night when she shocked and dismayed the entire group.

After enjoying a mostly entertaining night where the Senator and the crowd exchanged loving glances, and happy remarks, Senator Feinstein dropped a bombshell on her lefty buddies.

Here’s how says Feinstein shocked the crowd into silence:

“But near the end of the political lovefest, the senator shocked the crowd when she declined to say that Trump should be impeached, and warned the audience that they should expect to deal with the developer-turned politician for all four years of his term.”

Oh, but things got worse for both Feinstein and the crowd when Feinstein admitted that she thought Trump could become a “good President.”

Here’s what she said that got the crowd booing, hissing, and even shouting, “No!”

“Look, this man is going to be president most likely for the rest of his term. I just hope he has the ability to learn and to change. And if he does, he can be a good president. And that’s my hope. I have my own personal feelings about it.”

The San Francisco Chronicle explained why the crowd was so stunned by Feinstein’s comments:

That sort of talk is never heard in Democratic circles, where California Congress members already are talking about what they see as the need to impeach Trump or remove him from office via the 25th Amendment.

The crowd reacted with stunned silence, broken only with scattered “No’s” and a few hisses and some nervous laughter.

In other words most California Democrats live in a bubble of leftwing indignation, anger, and fantasy. These people are so out of touch with reality that they actually believe that any day now, President Trump is going to be impeached for something. Anything. Sure, no one can quite explain what legal issue could become the source of said impeachment… but it’s going to happen!

So when Feinstein explains that Trump will not be getting impeached and that he could well become a good President, it was a shock to their leftwing brains.

Before that moment they had never considered the possibility that Trump might still be President come 2020. Poor little liberals.

On Wednesday, Senator Feinstein was so worried about the pain and consternation her words had caused that she felt forced to release a statement qualifying her comments:

During this tumultuous time, I’m working to protect the progress we’ve made and find a way to get things done for Californians during a period of total Republican control of Washington. I’ve been strongly critical of President Trump when I disagree on policy and with his behavior.

Most recently, I was appalled by his comments in response to Charlottesville and the pardon of Sheriff Joe Arpaio. President Trump said that there were ‘very fine people’ in a crowd chanting ‘Jews will not replace us.’ There’s nothing ‘fine’ about white supremacists, Nazis or the KKK…

While I’m under no illusion that it’s likely to happen and will continue to oppose his policies, I want President Trump to change for the good of the country.

Too late Senator, the damage has been done. Your little lefty snowflake heads have already begun popping and they’ve already retreated to their safe spaces in an effort to avoid being “triggered.”

I am the supreme law of the United States. Originally comprising seven articles, I delineate the national frame of government. My first three articles entrench the doctrine of the separation of powers, whereby the federal government is divided into three branches: the legislative, consisting of the bicameral Congress; the executive, consisting of the President; and the judicial, consisting of the Supreme Court and other federal courts. Articles Four, Five and Six entrench concepts of federalism, describing the rights and responsibilities of state governments and of the states in relationship to the federal government. Article Seven establishes the procedure subsequently used by the thirteen States to ratify it. I am regarded as the oldest written and codified constitution in force of the world.
