James Comey

Democrat Hypocrisy made Clear in Comey Firestorm

My how the Democrat stories change depending on the weather from the White House.

Just a few days ago the Democrat Party had been roundly calling for FBI Director Comey’s head on a platter, then when the President finally does what he should have done on Day 1 and fires the embattled chief, the Democrats freak out and change their tune. Suddenly, the man that they’ve been begging to have fired should never have actually been fired!

Here are just a few quotes to remind you of how the Democrats felt before Tuesday (by way of Lifezette):

Chuck Schumer (D-NY) – “I do not have confidence in him any longer,” Schumer said of Comey on Nov. 2.

Trending: Fuel for Thought

Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) – “Maybe he’s not in the right job,” House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) told CNN on Nov. 2.

Harry Reid (D-NV) – “This is not fake news. Intelligence officials are hiding connections to the Russian government. There is no question,” then-Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid said in a Dec. 10 interview on MSNBC. “Comey knew and deliberately kept this info a secret,” he said. The MSNBC host asked Reid if Comey should resign. “Of course, yes,” Reid replied.

Steve Cohen (D-TN) – “I called on FBI Director James Comey to resign his position after his recent communication with members of Congress regarding the bureau’s review of emails potentially related to Hillary Clinton’s personal email server,” Cohen wrote in a Nov. 3 op-ed published in The Hill.

Maxine Waters (D-CA) – “The FBI director has no credibility,” said Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Calif.), according to CBS.

Hank Johnson (D-GA) – “My confidence in the FBI director’s ability to lead this agency has been shaken,” said Rep. Hank Johnson (D-Ga.).

Conservative radio host Mark Levin made sure to remind everyone that the Democrats were being massive hypocrites on the Comey issue and he called on President Trump to go on offense as well.

“Mr. President, you guys need to go on offense. You need to take on Chuck Schumer immediately and call him out for his hypocrisy, for his politicization of law enforcement, for his effort to undermine the election results. You need to turn the political guns on him and DO. IT. RIGHT. NOW!

Comey was fired, frankly, because he’s a loose cannon. Democrat, Republican, it doesn’t matter — he’s a loose cannon. He’s assuming authority he doesn’t have. He’s making decisions that were supposed to be decisions by the Obama Justice Department.”

President Trump may have been listening to Levin, because early Wednesday morning he unleashed a Twitter tirade unmasking their hypocrisy and reminding them of their own past words.

He even took the time to remind America that a few of these Democrat leaders were KNOWN LIARS.

He also took the time to call CNN “fake news” for reporting that former confidante Roger Stone had something to do with the decision to fire Comey… he didn’t.

Stone added his two cents as well.

Constitution.com 🇺🇸

I am the supreme law of the United States. Originally comprising seven articles, I delineate the national frame of government. My first three articles entrench the doctrine of the separation of powers, whereby the federal government is divided into three branches: the legislative, consisting of the bicameral Congress; the executive, consisting of the President; and the judicial, consisting of the Supreme Court and other federal courts. Articles Four, Five and Six entrench concepts of federalism, describing the rights and responsibilities of state governments and of the states in relationship to the federal government. Article Seven establishes the procedure subsequently used by the thirteen States to ratify it. I am regarded as the oldest written and codified constitution in force of the world.
