Days after London Attack Muslim Leader says Former Muslims Must be Executed

I am continually baffled by the Left’s insistence that Islam is not the violent religion that terrorists make it out to be.

It’s not just the terrorists who advocate for the violence that terrifies us in the West, it’s also the “mainstream” leaders of Western Islam. For evidence you can read any of the dozens of stories about “extremist” mosques that exist across the United States, Canada, France, the UK, Germany, Australia, and elsewhere…

The latest example comes to us from Australia where a Muslim leader was recorded telling a large group of Muslims that they shouldn’t shy away from the fact that apostates (former Muslims) should be put to death.

“The ruling for apostates as such in Islam is clear, that apostates attract capital punishment and we don’t shy away from that,” Uthman Badar told the crowd gathered at a forum in Sydney over the weekend.

Badar is the spokesman for a Muslim group called Hizb Ut-Tahrir and he was forced to defend many of the group’s so-called “radical” beliefs during forum. A local female journalist also asked about the group’s stance on apostasy (which was removed from their website some years ago but remains in their constitution. Article 7c of the constitution says: ‘Those who are guilty of apostasy (murtadd) from Islam are to be executed according to the rule of apostasy, provided they have by themselves renounced Islam.’

While Badar first tried to evade questions about the policy when pressed he argued that the policy wasn’t out of the ordinary. “The whole thing covers different aspects of Islamic sharia law,” Badar said. “The role of apostasy in Islam is very clear. Again, this is one of the things the West doesn’t like and seeks to change the role of apostasy.”

There it is folks – this is the truth. The most extreme elements of Islam are CLEAR, it’s just that liberals in the West want to pretend they don’t exist. Our politicians argue that terrorists don’t “represent” Islam but who are they to say such a thing? The Quran clearly teaches that much, if not all, of the tactics used by terrorists are lawful for Muslims to use against infidels like us. In fact, while our leaders say the terrorists don’t represent Islam, the terrorists say that “moderate” Muslims don’t represent true Islam.

Badar had more “truth” to deliver during his comments in Sydney.

He said Islam was incompatible with a secular separation of religion and state, democracy, individual rights and even the process of science, which he called ‘scientism’.

He compared calls to fit Islam within a secular society to domesticating a wild animal, putting Hizb ut-Tahrir at odds with secular Muslims who reject sharia law.

‘The West seeks to domesticate Islam, to control, to bring within, the way you domesticate animals,’ he said.

Badar described calls to reform Islam from secular Muslims as ‘pernicious’, ‘insidious’ and ‘dangerous’ and called for radical change.

‘Always when you hear these sorts of calls, alarm bells should ring,’ he said.

‘The Islam people are calling for fits very well within modernity. They’re giving in to the pressure to conform.’

Islam IS incompatible with Western culture.

This is Islam.

The local Australian news ran a story on the hateful meeting and spoke to several people who had moved to Australia from Muslim majority nations. What is the shocking reason they each left their homelands? Because of the violence they feared from their neighbors. “Extremism” is the norm in the Muslim world, so how can we call it “extremism”? A more fitting name for Muslim “extremism” is mainstream Islam.

I am the supreme law of the United States. Originally comprising seven articles, I delineate the national frame of government. My first three articles entrench the doctrine of the separation of powers, whereby the federal government is divided into three branches: the legislative, consisting of the bicameral Congress; the executive, consisting of the President; and the judicial, consisting of the Supreme Court and other federal courts. Articles Four, Five and Six entrench concepts of federalism, describing the rights and responsibilities of state governments and of the states in relationship to the federal government. Article Seven establishes the procedure subsequently used by the thirteen States to ratify it. I am regarded as the oldest written and codified constitution in force of the world.
