Dan Rather’s Deplorable Donald Diss Deflected into GREATNESS

There is an identity brewing within America’s conservative awakening that is growing into a movement in 2018, and we have Hillary Clinton to thank for it…at least partially.

Now don’t go running for the pitch forks and torches yet, just because I gave credit where credit is due.  Hillary Clinton, while a vile and villainous traitor by all qualifications, she is responsible for one of the most galvanizing moments in American conservative history.

And thus, The Deplorables were born.

We The People proudly gathered ourselves together to defeat Clinton, and call into question her insulting and discriminatory rhetoric as yet another attack against the American populace.  This is something that Clinton has, time and again, proven that she is more than capable of doing, in turning her back on half of the nation in order to insult a single political opponent.

To be fair, however, Donald Trump may consider himself lucky.  A great many of Hillary Clinton’s enemies don’t end up faring as well.

Now, in an effort to disparage the newly proud Deplorables, Dan Rather has decided to awaken from his slumber and slur out a new “insult” in the direction of Donald Trump.

The only problem is, it really isn’t an insult at all.

In an interview with CNN’s Don Lemon, Rather tried to insult President Donald Trump by comparing him to a wolverine, while blaming Trump in essence for the stunning decline in civility in American politics since the 2016 presidential campaign.

“Looking at the whole sweep of American history, there were some very nasty periods of incivility. In the 1880s, for example. In the 1920s. But no, I don’t think we’ve ever seen anything completely like this,” Rather told Lemon.

“And part of the reason is that, whether he is or is not, inside himself, President Trump gives every indication by what he says and does and what he doesn’t do, that he’s mean as a wolverine.

“And we’ve never had a president who had that reputation.”

If we’re being honest, Danny Boy, we pretty much love the idea that our President is being considered that “mean”.

This ornery reputation is what backed Kim Jong Un off of the nuclear ledge and swiftly sent ISIS packing to paradise over the course of the last 18 months.

In all fairness, I hope Donald Trump gets meaner.  America has been getting stepped on, globally, and we all know how that usually goes for those doing the stomping.
