CNN, Others Go After Trump For Poland Speech, Claim to Be “Free” Press

CNN and the rest of the mainstream media goons are collectively losing their minds after sustained attacks by the Trump administration.

These liberal-leaning “news” outlets have been on the receiving end of criticism for months, after their coverage of President Trump has annoyed and offended a great many Americans.  Not only have the networks shown absolute disregard for the respect deserved by the office of the President, but they have continually worked with the liberal “resistance” movement in order to cast doubt on the very intentions of the fairly elected Trump.

Of course, the President has been dishing out criticisms of his own after months and months of highly unethical behavior from these mainstream miscreants, with CNN leading the way.  Unverifiable dossiers, a Russian conspiracy theory with no proof, and the threat of exposing an American citizen for his internet satire are all part and parcel to the issue with CNN’s horrifically eschewed journalistic integrity.  Now, as Trump continues to lambast them while working abroad in Poland, these outlets are crying foul, and throwing a pedantic set of temper tantrums in the process.

“Daily Mail editor David Martosko asked Trump about the controversy surrounding CNN digging into the posting history of an anonymous Reddit user who claimed credit for the fake video of Trump body-slamming the CNN logo in a WWE ring.

“’I think what CNN did is unfortunate for them. As you know they have some pretty serious problems. They have been fake news for a long time. They have been covering me in a very, very dishonest way. What CNN did – and what others did, NBC is equally as bad despite the fact that I made them a fortune with The Apprentice but they forgot that,’ Trump said. ‘What I will say is that CNN has really taken it too seriously and I think they’ve hurt themselves very badly, very, very badly.’

“’Trump finally held a news conference overseas. But he took a question from a friendly reporter and then attacked CNN as “fake news,”‘ complained CNN’s Jim Acosta. ‘Isn’t it a “fake news conference” to take a question from a reporter who is essentially an ally of the White House?’ he added.

“Acosta later accused Trump on-air of spreading ‘fake news’ by saying Obama did nothing to stop Putin’s hacking of political targets in the run-up to the 2016 election.

“’If you’re just waking up, the president is on foreign soil attacking US intelligence patriots, the American free press & former presidents,’ wrote Joe Scarborough, co-host of MSNBC’s ‘Morning Joe.'”

This latest attack on the President has another disturbing factor attached to it:  The mainstream media is purporting to be the “free press”.

CNN and other massive media outlets in the 24 hour news cycle are beholden to one thing and one thing only – advertisers on which their income relies.  Without misleading headlines, sensationalism, anti-Trump trends, and an overall shirking of their journalistic responsibilities, there would be no value to CNN’s broadcast.  This would, of course, greatly limit their ability to sell advertising slots, and eventually bankrupt the entertainment “news” channel altogether.  To call themselves the “free press” is akin to Katy Perry claiming to be an indy songwriter.

CNN’s delusional behavior will likely continue until the demise of the entire company, which, given the sad shape of their moral compass, could be sooner rather than later.
