CNN Becomes Conspiracy News Network With Bizarre Melania Rant

There is little doubt left that CNN and their cohorts in the mainstream media are failing miserably at the so-called “journalism” that they progress to partake in.

Something about the election of Donald Trump to the highest office in the land has completely shaken them to the core.  Trump, who is by all measures an unconventional President, is not fitting nicely into the predetermined role that CNN, MSNBC, and others had carved out for him.

Instead, Trump is proving that he himself is the maverick to end all mavericks, (sorry, not sorry, Johnny McCain).  The left’s attempts to reign in the Commander in Chief through the common channels of communication have been obliterated by Trump’s insistence on the realtime advantages of using Twitter, thusly negating any attempt that the left has made to scoop the White House.

This has caused a full-blown meltdown of the mainstream media, and provided endless entertainment for political media observers in the free, true press of the internet.  Last night’s State of The Union address was no exception, as the worldwide leader in nonsense took time out of their incessant coverage of the event’s traffic routes to push a bizarre conspiracy theory about the relationship between Donald Trump and First Lady Melania.

Trending: Science is Settled

“Just before the 9 p.m. hour, CNN White House Reporter Kate Bennett was trying to read the tea leaves to understand why Melania didn’t ride with Donald to the Capitol:

“‘She did drive up separately this evening from the White House to the capitol … We do hear from the White House, however Wolf, they will be driving home together. The President and the First Lady will share the ride home. But it is, again, bucking tradition that she drove up on her own.’

“‘All that, despite the fact that Bennett did admit that Melania was accompanying her guests to the event.’

“‘And after being teed up by CNN host Jake Tapper, Bennett tried to read into the secret message the First Lady was trying to send, with her dress. “You know, she’s wearing a cream-colored suit there, which I find interesting. Remember last year the female Democratic Senators all wore white,” she recalled while claiming it was to protests Trump’s anti-woman policies.'”

That’s right, folks:  CNN believes that the First Lady is protesting her own husband at his first State of The Union simply because her choice of suit color was similar to white.  To be honest, we’re a little impressed that CNN didn’t connect the color of her pantsuit to the Ku Klux Klan, given their penchant for attempting to paint the White House residents as some supreme bigotry cabal hellbent on making American white again.

And CNN wonders why their ratings are tanking…
