Clinton Email Saga Is Ongoing According to New Justice Department Docs

The worst thing that Hillary Clinton has ever done to her political career was run for President in 2016.

While that may sound slightly dramatic and more than a little misleading, the truth of the matter is that Clinton’s 2016 campaign ushered in a new understanding of the former First Lady’s political legacy.  During that tumultuous, and ultimately unsuccessful bid for the White House, Clinton was exposed as extremely corrupt, irresponsible, physically unwell and unfit for office, and conniving at levels previously unheard of in modern politics.

Not only did Clinton bring on some of this scrutiny herself, by refusing to release medical records or divulge the content of her high paying Wall Street speeches, the democratic deity was also the focus of a massive effort by whistleblower website Wikileaks, in which the candidate was lambasted for a number of misgivings.

One of the most egregious tidbits of information that we learned about Clinton, however, had to do with her handling of classified U.S. emails through a private, unsecured server during her time as Secretary of State.  Not only did Clinton receive emails of national importance on this secret server, but some of those emails were also routed to her personal Blackberry device…an egregious misgiving that many thought we had heard the last of.

Not so fast.

“Newly released documents from the State Department reveal Hillary Clinton was the subject of a grand jury investigation related to her BlackBerry email accounts.

“The conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch revealed on Friday that FBI Special Agent E.W. Priestap made a declaration stating the former secretary of state was under investigation for using a private email account on her BlackBerry.

“The documents were produced in response to Judicial Watch’s lawsuit looking to force Secretary of State Rex Tillerson to take action in recovering emails from Clinton and other State Department employees. The lawsuit was originally filed against former Secretary of State John Kerry on April 30, 2015, after the State Department refused to take action on a letter notifying him about the ‘unlawful removal of the Clinton emails.'”

Clinton’s highly unscrupulous behavior as it pertained to these emails were just one tidbit of information that the American people used to discredit her as a politician, and ultimately send her packing back to her Chappaqua, New York home in emphatically embarrassing style.

This severe distrust goes well beyond Clinton herself, with a massive bit of collusion between the then-candidate and the DNC being discovered during the campaign of 2016.  This eventually led to the dismissal of Debbie Wassermann Schultz as chair of the organization, and further imploded the already struggling democratic party.  Now, with very few worthy politicians still among their ranks, democratic party members have been forced to search out a new messianic figure to compete with the immensely powerful President Trump…a feat that may never be achieved.
