Climate Alarmists Will Soon Be Able to Silence Their Opposition

For years, there has been this almost blind acceptance of the Global Warming hysteria. No matter how much scientific evidence one brings to the table, it is either ignored or not publicized. Climate Skeptics, as they are called are being drummed out of academia.

There has been a public push to have such people treated as criminals. Already labeled as if they believed the world was flat, some would have them sued or arrested. As I reported, Bill Ney is one that is pushing for imprisonment.

That might be a reality sooner than we thought.

The Washington Times reports

A landmark California bill gaining steam would make it illegal to engage in climate-change dissent, clearing the way for lawsuits against fossil-fuel companies, think-tanks and others that have “deceived or misled the public on the risks of climate change.”

The first-of-its-kind legislation — Senate Bill 1161, or the California Climate Science Truth and Accountability Act of 2016 — is scheduled for floor action Thursday after clearing Senate committees in April and May.

This will clear the way for Climate Alarm to be the only climate science game going. This will open up oil and gas companies to lawsuits. They could be sued for disseminating lies to promote their product.

But worse than that, we will have scientists, and their research stopped. This silencing and destruction of real science, honest science could have devastating effects. Effects that heretofore we cannot see.

Imagine that there really was global warming, or climate change. That it was true that the world was getting hotter and hotter. But that man has nothing to do with it at all. But the thing that is causing it could be stopped if we could only find it and reverse the cause.

We can never find this cause if we are not allowed to look.
