Chief Justice Roy Moore to Stand Trial AGAIN for Marriage

Justice Roy Moore speaks for Alabama.

The federal judiciary is out of control, and Justice Roy Moore is the only one following the law. So the fine folks who call Alabama their “Sweet Home” are shutdown AGAIN, “We don’t care who you want to elect or what you want as law.”If it’s not who or what we want we will take them out” by a so-called Ethics Committee.  In 1999 Moore ran for Chief Justice with the hope of returning “God to our public and (to) restore the moral foundation of our law.”

Justice Roy Moore was elected by the people and sworn in as Chief Justice on January 15, 2001. He subsequently commissioned a granite monument of the 10 Commandments to be at the Alabama Supreme Court building, a move largely supported by most citizens of the state Justice Roy Moore was serving.

“On October 30, 2001, the ACLU of Alabama, Americans United for Separation Church and State and the Southern Poverty Law Center were among groups which filed in the United States District Court for the Middle District of asking that the monument be removed because it ‘sends a message to all who enter State Judicial Building that the government encourages and endorses the practice religion in general and Judeo-Christianity in particular.'”

A legal battle ensued against Justice Roy Moore.

Once the pocket of Alabama got hit with FEDERAL fines for not removing the monument, the other justices buckled and ordered it removed. Massive protests from citizens erupted. Justice Roy Moore has been under vicious attack. On August 22, 2003, the Alabama Judicial Inquiry Commission filed a complaint with the Alabama Court of the Judiciary. Justice Roy Moore suspended pending a hearing. It happened swiftly. He was removed after the hearing because he STOOD UP for God and the people who elected him.

9 years later, Justice Roy Moore chose to enter the race for Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court again. He won hands down.

The people had spoken and what they shouted was “We want Roy. He stands for us.”

That is unless you work for the Southern Poverty Law Center.  On January 28, 2015, they filed a judicial ethics complaint AGAIN against Judge Moore. They stated he had publicly commented on pending same-sex marriage cases

(I guess they are only okay with Ruth Bader Ginsburg doing so). They further allege he encouraged state officials and judges to ignore federal court rulings overturning bans on same-sex marriage. The fate of the Judge’s standing is in the hands of an oligarchy.

“The Alabama Sanctity of Marriage Amendment, also known as Constitutional Amendment 774, was on the June 6, 2006 ballot in Alabama as a legislatively referred amendment, where it was approved. The measure defined marriage as an “unique between a man and a woman” and prohibited the state from issuing marriage licenses to

same-sex couples.”

The passage of the amendment,  approved by a majority in EVERY county, makes Alabama the 20th state to adopt a constitutional amendment defining marriage.

The federal fellas nullified ALL that in February 2015. They don’t seem to care what the citizens vote for.

I wonder when the Federals will just declare Alabama unethical and decide to nullify the state. I am willing to bet that won’t go over so well with a bunch of folks that can field dress a deer faster than Michael Phelps can swim a lap. It might not be a good idea to keep bullying them and kicking sand in their faces. My wife is from Alabama. Like the rest of “her people” she only takes so much before you must duck and cover. Do you have any idea what kind of damage a cast iron skillet can do?
