Given the current trend of outing sexual predators in American society, it was only a matter of time before Bill Clinton’s name came back into the mainstream conversation.
The former Commander in Chief, (and democratic icon), has been out of the mainstream news cycle for a few years, with only random appearances during his wife Hillary’s campaign to speak of. Now that the entire nation is attempting to shed itself of predatory sexual deviants, however, victims such as Juanita Broaddrick are stepping forward to once again call attention to “Bubba” Clinton’s long history of gross misconduct.
For decades, numerous women have alleged that Bill Clinton has inappropriately groped or harassed them, with some victim accusing Clinton of much more. In the case of Broaddrick, this includes very serious rape allegations that the left has largely ignored. Democrats and liberal celebrities alike have merely overlooked the accusations, allowing Clinton to maintain a relatively cheery position in American culture.
Now, actress-turned-activist Chelsea Handler has been called to the carpet regarding her own ignorance of Clinton’s victimization of women, and has changed her tune. Dramatically.
“On Sunday, Handler sounded off on the recent sexual assault allegations launched against Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore. ‘Imagine being molested by an older man. Then that man denies ever doing it and then goes on and gets elected to United States senate,’ wrote the former Netflix host. ‘What kind of message does that send to young girls everywhere? And men to all the men who abuse women?’
“Broaddrick quickly responded to Handler, reminding the comedian that she was allegedly raped by Clinton and silenced by the media and Hillary before that man went on to be elected by Democrats to be POTUS. ‘But I’m sure you don’t want to go there,’ wrote Broaddrick, implying that Handler’s outrage was ignited phony partisanship.
“Handler finally replied to Ms. Broaddrick on Wednesday, suggesting she missed the tweet and had been in the dark over Broaddrick’s claims against Clinton.
“‘I’m sorry I’m just seeing this,’ she wrote. ‘You are right and I apologize to you for not knowing your story. Democrats along with Republicans and the rest of the worlds’s [sic] political parties all need to do better and respect the firsthand accounts of victims. I believe you.'”
Handler, who had been lending credence to politically motivated and conveniently timed allegation against Alabama Senate Candidate Moore, has apparently had an epiphany about the true evil that lurks in the halls of power.
Hollywood and Capitol Hill are both undergoing a massive awakening in recent weeks, as the nation works to rid itself of sexual predation between the haves and have-nots. Handler, a true bleeding heart liberal, has been forced to reconcile the truth regarding these perverse acts that transcend the political landscape in which she is accustomed to inhabiting.
Political activism, Handler’s newest endeavor, is certainly not an opinionated talk show on Netflix or the E! network, making her former leftist bias seem uncouth at best and disingenuous at worst.
