Charlie Crist Accidentally Brings Down the House with this “Joke”!

Has any politician in America fallen further and faster than Charlie Crist? Short of being caught in criminality and sent to prison, while in office, I just don’t think it’s possible for a politician to destroy their own career faster or more irrevocably than Charlie Crist has done in recent years.

Crist was once a respected State Attorney General, he was a popular Governor, and he was a highly touted REPUBLICAN Senate candidate. Sadly, when he lost the Senate nomination to the more conservative Tea Party endorsed [score]Marco Rubio[/score] (R-FL), Charlie lost his ever-lovin’ mind. Instead of accepting the will of the GOP voters graciously, Crist chose to run as a moderate independent. Less than two years later he announced that he would be running to win back his job as Governor, this time as a liberal Democrat. He somehow traveled the road from fairly conservative successful Governor to fairly liberal failing Democrat in less than 3 years. He has been called (by me) the most unprincipled politician in America today, and he’s trying to trick Florida’s voters into electing him again.

Crist is now running (as the Democrat nominee) to represent Florida’s 13th Congressional District in Washington, D.C. Crist now runs against a locally popular Republican, David Jolly, for a seat that has been held by a Republican since 1955. In what should be a tough race, he’s already doing himself no favors. At their most recent debate, Crist made the audience erupt in a roar of laughter and cacophony of moans when he actually called Hillary Clinton… “honest.”

Watch his commentary in all of its soul-crushing, cringe-inducing glory:

Seriously, Charlie, what in the world has happened to you man? Do you actually believe any of the things you say anymore? What happened to your self-respect?

Here’s hoping that the voters of the 13th District put Charlie Crist out to pasture and that he finally accepts the fact that his political career is over.
