CBS This Morning Panel Piranha-Like Attack of Pence on Trump

Have you ever seen video of a school of piranha attacking an animal in the water?

In case you’re not familiar with the fish called piranha, there are a couple dozen species and most of them have pointed serrated teeth that are so sharp that they can often slice through your flesh before you feel it. Their jaw strength is among the strongest in the animal kingdom allowing them to easily cut through strong steel fishing leaders designed to hold over 100 pounds of weight. Most species of piranha travel in schools and when they sense blood in the water, they can attack and devour an animal the size of a horse in just a couple minutes. The more blood in the water, the wilder the feeding frenzy gets. Sometimes, when a horse enters the water without any injury, a few piranhas will quickly keep hitting at it or taking a quick bite in order to create an injury which in turn launches a vicious feeding frenzy.

This is the best description I can think of to describe the panel on CBS This Morning when they talked with Vice Presidential candidate Mike Pence on Friday morning, they kept attacking him like a school of piranha trying to draw blood.  News hosts Charlie Rose and Norah O’Donnell were joined by guest host and the three of them went after Mike Pence like piranha searching for blood,

After asking Pence about the sexual allegations surrounding Trump, Pence responded and then tried to turn the conversation back to the issues facing the nation. Each time Pence tried to talk about the issues, one or all of the hosts did their best to interrupt him and take the conversation back to the allegations against Trump. Each time they did, Pence kept his calm far better than I would have and said he already answered that and then tried to go back to talking about the issues, only to be interrupted again and again. The news hosts completely ignored Pence’s responses to their questions and just kept hammering away trying to make their points to listeners without wanting real answers.

Their liberal Democratic bias was so obvious that they may have well been wearing Hillary for President t-shirts and waving Hillary signs as they mock interviewed Pence. While they non-stop attacked Pence on the Trump allegations, not one of the media hosts dared mention any of the scandals surrounding Hillary Clinton. There was no mention of the most recent email scandal, Benghazi or her ‘locker-room’ talk about seeing a male celebrity’s genitals that happened due to a wardrobe malfunction. There was a brief mention by Pence about the recent allegations based upon newly released emails about Clinton donors receiving preferential treatment while she was Secretary of State, some involving contracts to aide Haiti, but the hosts quickly cut Pence off and then they ran out of time.

It was obvious that none of the so-called professional news anchors were interested in the issues facing our nation as all they could focus on were the as-yet unproven recent allegations made against Trump, one of which was made by a Clinton donor. You can watch the interview with Pence here.

So much for reporting the news. Perhaps they should rename the morning news program CBS: Democratic National Committee Report!
