Cartel Member Does The UNTHINKABLE To Tracking Dogs in Texas

While the democrats continue to downplay the dangers of open borders for the sake of appeasing their globalist overlords, there are ugly, terrifying things occurring in Texas.

The Lone Star State shares an enormous border with Mexico, our southern neighbor.  This means that Texans have been dealing with an inordinate amount of illegal immigration over the course of the last several decades, as Mexican drug cartels and human smugglers salivate over the desolate highways and vast expanses that help to shield their clandestine behavior from the locals.

This has made Texas a hotbed of such criminal activity, with narcotics and gang members seemingly running amok in the state at times.

Trending: Fuel for Thought

Now, after a harrowing chase almost 150 miles north of the border, Texas police have made an incredibly disturbing discovery.

One of at least 14 illegal immigrants trying to flee law enforcement near a Texas beach is believed to have killed two tracking dogs. One suspect may have ties to a Mexican drug cartel, say authorities.

The case took place north of Holiday Beach, more than 150 miles north of the Texas border, when state and local police were trying to stop a human smuggling attempt, the Aransas County Sheriff’s Office revealed in a prepared statement. A black Ford truck was headed north on Highway 35 as it was trying to flee law enforcement when it crashed through some fencing and stopped near a brushy area. Between 14 and 16 individuals reportedly ran from the vehicle.

Authorities responded to the scene with a group of tracking dogs from a private kennel. According to police, the dogs are not trained to bite like K-9 officers–but are used for search and rescue operations.

And, as if there was any doubt that we were dealing with a bad hombre…

Authorities were able to find five of the individuals in the brush. A sixth man turned violent, telling law enforcement “if you want me, come and get me,” police said. After his arrest, the man was described as bearing a cartel tattoo among the strangled bodies of two tracking dogs.

I have no problem admitting that there are a great many people coming to this nation, from Mexico, with much better intentions than this particular fellow, but his disgusting actions do nothing to bolster the liberal idea of “open borders”.

Maybe someday the left will come to realize this.  Until then, we’re going to find ourselves with strangled dogs littering the Texas countryside.
